Mythic spam is boring too you know, no strategy at all, put the best Myths and win. Nerf that too? Whenever people come with some type of lock strategy, it gets nerfed.

DR teams have potential. They can win against some Mythic teams, but they can also lose to less powerful teams.
Seriously, I personally think DR teams are not a bad counter to tanky Mythic. I think itās a good option for mid-level players who donāt have a good collection.
I agree. Nothing wrong with DR. Players should run some form of defence against it. Just one layback killer gives DR teams a hard time

I actually prefer to run DR without Auro. Teams that function like normal and are aggressive but have a ton of DR are tough.
Sometimes if I face Auro I leave it there to try and beat the enemy team twice lol. But then itās almost like a a 3 v 4

I have more than 40 mythical ones, and I donāt use them one after the other, make no mistake, everything has to make sense, otherwise you wonāt make a top

I had a blast playing around with airavalon this season. I figured I would try making a fun team for once since I couldnāt think of any other good frontlines. I thought this was just going to be an obnoxious troll team that could maybe reach top 10 but it ended up being way stronger than I predicted. Turns out airavalon is totally broken with the right setup lol.
I had to test out a bunch of different options before the poison endgame so my overall winrate was at the lowest its been in well over a year. I tried stuff like xyz, geoceron, mistletorment, carmillette, chlamydia with angelion (instead of momo and rhinoel), and a ton of different ways to order them. In the end the final version flows so smoothly from section to section and all the mons have amazing synergy with each other. It also can completely ruin ED teams if I can isolate and kill keiser early on with yin yang substitute.
I did find the team relatively difficult to optimize. Airavalon is so versatile but it can flop really hard when I made mistakes. It required a completely different playstyle from what Iām used to so my timer went down to 20 seconds very often while I was thinking of what moves to use. Overall I would say this was one of my most well built and creative teams to date. Thx @Dev_VKC for restricting most of my top tier mythics!
Iām very happy that youāve discovered the true potential of Airavalon. There are many hidden gems in Neomon. I wish I could limit more of your teams so that you could unleash the potential of more monsters others wouldnāt expect.

If Iām not mistaken, Wavetail was created to counteract that nerfed single stun strategy. Now some have found a way to abuse it and give a terrible gameplay experience to others. Iām not against token blocking, but some kind of ruling on boxes definitely needs to be given to prevent the strategy from being abused, just like they did with rock blocking.
Wavetail was made to counter cannibalize strats in general, which includes quite a few different strats not limited to single stun revenge, and could be used to create permanent deadweight with boxjaws and voos. Iām pretty sure its token lock potential was known on release even if it wasnāt used much for a long time.

You werenāt there but Wavetail was the OG tool to play with Rock Lock in the famous Kanna Stag Skele Wavetail combo.
After rocks got death sentence to them people started to play it with tokens like boxes and voos.
If my memory serves me right i remember me and @ILAGaLOT trying this out long ago when tinker was the only monster that can spawn boxes but due to lack of support and inconsistency we called it off as other strategies were superior like stun lock etc
I wasnt playing in the era of rock lock but i would see it happening
