Nope…there are more than a few big spenders in this game…Developers should know…best let them decide what is best for the game…
End of the day, when u pay for an orange…last thing u want is to get an apple…i rest my case…
PS : Big spenders are not necessary at the top…Factors such as lack of ingredients to evolve the monsters and poor gameplay affect players ranking as well…The main thing is still will u pay for an orange that might change to an apple after u pay the money.
Gazer nerf is forgettable…it happens already so be it…but not nerf every single existing monsters…
I am aware that the devs need money to keep supporting this awesome game for us. This is why I am against upping legendary rates.
I am pretty sure that being in the top 10 players is a lot of proof against P2W. I have spent nothing and I am in top 10 consistently. The only reason that I wasn’t up there this pvp is because I didn’t realize that I had a cannibalize line of my own. If I had realized this before the end of the event then I would have claimed my spot back. The first time I hit top ten was back when I had only 4 legendaries.
The cost limit helps keep P2W in check.
I don’t spend because no money to spend on the game and no credit card. Simple as that.
Gazer nerf will not be a nerf. It will just steer him in the direction that he was meant to be used rather then in an unbreakable frontline. It will be a change, not a nerf.
False analogy. In this case the change from an orange to an apple implies that the monster will have no semblance of the original monster you paid for. A slight change to the monster for balance reasons is not fundamentally changing the monster.
If you let the big spenders decide what is best then we will get a lot of people who want to have the devs buff their monsters so they stay on top of everyone else. The game would then be screwed and then it would die.
First of all gazer has to be nerfed its unfun to play aganist secondly players who paid for this op guy deserve to get some compensation or it will be unfair for them and most likely will not spend a cent on this game again if this happens more often and trust me it will because with new monsters coming in op combos will apper and that will lead us to were we started to solve this we offer a compensation system so if a nerf happens to gazer or future monsters we already have a soultuion to it. Overing gems for all the community is unfair becuase not everyone will suffer the loss of gazer. In either case i dont know why devlopers give gems to ppl who dont suffer from the loss.
It isn’t going to be a nerf, it will be a change. That is all. We need to stop calling it a nerf. He will simply be more of a midgame mon rather then an early game monster.
Details on the nerf will be revealed soon along with some really cool buffs devs made a mistake making eye that is all and is something that we hope will never happen again that is all
Imagine this you went to a car manufacturer and decided to buy a car with engine type A then you drive the car for a week after that the manufacturer calls and take the car from you and downgrade you to engine type B. Yes the car will move but its not the egine that i paid for.
In that case the manufacturer is actually legally bound to compensate, the devs technically are not. It is at their discretion. Also imo, failure to recompensate will not kill the game, but it will cause a lull in income as I’m assuming has happened. Over time other players will grow and replace the payers, as well as more newer players who aren’t getting crushed 24/7.
I have no opinion on the compensation, as there was no agreement on how much $ it should cost for gazer, nor any agreements in place about what you get for your purchases. You also technically own nothing in the game. Compensation would be nice, but whether it happens or not doesn’t affect the game in the long run with respect to player base growth.
You do realize that you dont own the monsters you use right? The company does. While it would be fair and a good move of them to compensate for the huge mistake gazer turned out to be, they dont have to.
Also, you are all acting like gazer will be unusable after the nerf, it wont be at all. You will all see that in the friday chat.
Am not talking about just gazer but future monsters too i took gazer as a exmple and chrono too.lets say Solblaze and Lunartic turned out to be broken and then they have to be tuned down the same scenario of gazer will be repeated. Its better to bulid a house of bricks then glass by haveing a backup plan if a nerf is required which am suggesting this compensation system and its up to the devlopers to decide.
incase it happens again which most likely will be the case people should be able to rest assured that incase it happens again they won´t get ***** and can happily throw their money at the game.
if it won´t then all good anyways.
on a sidenote I do not have gazer so I´m not trying to gain any benefits here.
Those people that have gazer really have no right to be upset about this. You seem to think that with the nerf, the game will effectively be giving them something that isn’t what they were promised when they spent. Well, turns out that was already a problem to begin with. What they were promised was a unique new monster that adds a reasonable dose of potential strategies to their arsenal. But instead it gave them one strategy that all but guarantees victory, thus throwing all previous strategies out the window. When you win every single time, the game gets a whole lot less fun, for both you and your opponents, as I trust a lot of you can attest to. Nerfs aren’t meant to punish monsters for being OP by turning them into benchwarmers. They happen in order to keep everyone in check and keep the game versatile. I for one have full confidence that Deathgazer will still be fully viable after work has been done on him, just not absurdly viable(Ziberius, anyone?). All in all, you still got what you were promised, right? So do hush up.
I’ll just say this. If you knew deathgazer was broken when you paid money for it which honestly most of you guys didn’t until you saw me abusing it in PvP but let’s assume you all knew he was broken…
You very well knew it was gonna be nerfed and yet you still decided to spend for it. Pretty much your own fault I would say.
Also compensating for a free monster even tho it costs a lot of in game materials… That’s kinda dumb. No matter what you would have made chronozeros regardless even if he was a bit weaker. It’s a silly and pointless argument really.
Well actually the point is: You were promised nothing. Only thing you were promised was to get a certain amount of gems for the money you spent. It was your choice to spend these gems on eggs. AT NO POINT there was something like “pay 200 $/€ for a Deathgazer”. Everybody who decides to hatch eggs is very well aware of the odds and if your point is “i spent 300 € to get this monster and now it gets nerfed, that sucks” i do understand that youre disappointed but nobody forced you to spend that money, plus you actually should be happy that you even got a legend. It also would have been possible that you get nothing. So i think that whole compensating thing makes absolutely no sense at all.
First of all, it was the people who have him that asked for him to be nerfed. That says a lot about the balance of gazer.
Second of all, say you were given the opportunity to buy a legal duplicate of cannabis. You know that eventually it’s not going to turn out well, so it’s your choice whether to spend the money on it. Same principle with gazer, if you spent a lot of money on something literally because it was broken, then how can you not expect some form of nerf in the future? It’s your choice to run that risk.
how about this:
egg rolling is a lil bit like gambling.
lets compare it to a game on an one-armed bandit, which says: “spent 1$ and you have a chance for 1.000$ if you hit the 7-7-7!”
so you spend the 1$ and get a 7-7-7, but the bandit only gives you 500$
of course gems buying is not exactly like it is to buy a car.
but you buy the gems to have the chance for legendaries (with special abilities), and then if you are lucky you get the leg you wanted.
and then the legendaries dont have the abilities which they were promised to have?
thats like a intentional false statement in advertisement: “oh look here, we have a great product with special features. if you spend 1$ you can spin the wheel of fortune and get this great product” and in the end, the product doesnt have these special features.
where i am from, thats illegal^^
and i dont talk about gazer, but about nerfing in general
Yeah but thats a bad example since buffs and nerfs a part of the game since forever. You should be aware that the monster you want so badly can be nerfed at any time, thats an essential part of a strategy game, from time to time it needs some adjustmens otherwise it would be broken within a few months. Devs are only human, they make mistakes, but they fix it and they will take care of not making gazer completly useless. You cant say “yeah, this monster totally ruins the game, but because a few people could be disappointed we wont do anything” Thats the way a strategy game works, thats the way even AAA Title work, if something ruins the game experience, it’ll get fixed for the greater good of the game.
