Ok then let’s remove also stunning entrances and all the stun flash from all the monster then let’s delete all stun counter and converter, stun absorber too…let’s forget stun…:thinking:

You are redirecting a single problem on a monster when is more generalized, stun flash is a good move to pass time to activate Survivor, now there are counters against stun flash but like for everything there is a counter.

Purifying mist would be a good call. And a second passive too.

lol you taking a simple suggestion and making an unfair comparison. That’s like saying, fast food makes people fat so let’s go close all fast food restaurants. Get a life we are talking about one monster here and not generalizing it to all of the mons who have stun moves.

Seal would be a terrible idea on such a fast monster, that would be so powerful!

I did a search and it seems I’ve talked about Heavenswyrm buff ideas 5-10 times over the years. It’s an underrated monster for sure.

Looking at the game as it is right now and how Heavenswyrm is, my buff idea would be:

  • stun flash (250TU) -> stun wave (250TU)
  • healing light (100TU) -> purifying light (100TU) [heal + purify]
  • add second passive “hardened carapace”

Heavenswyrm gets its strength from having a versatile moveset, with each move being good in the right situation. 160TU hit all is very useful, as is a high speed stun. Link shield all at high speed goes without saying… that’s awesome. If it survives some time then it has both healing teammates and damage dealing. I love the design and think it performs well, but sometimes feels lacklustre. By putting a bit more power into those two moves and making it harder to kill it becomes a better support monster that will really have an impact when its moves meet their ideal situation.

When I wrote the buff ideas above (October 2019) I wrote “OR” before the passive addition. I think in general what I’d say is add 2/3 of the above buffs. It doesn’t need all three.

It’s perfect on a support monster and would be nice on a high speed one like Heavenswyrm, but Heavens specifically already has a nice mix of support moves that it does well so better that ELEM accelerate is on a different monster I think.

Which move would you choose to remove? The hit all can’t really go, it would be left with only survivor and the 160TU hit all is great. Stun flash I think is the one you’re talking about, but if that goes then Heavens can’t make much impact for the first 200s unless you use it in link holy and that’s with ELEM accelerate + link shield all. That’s narrow and part of what makes Heavens so good is having great options. While ELEM accelerate would be powerful, it makes a smaller impact than stun flash. Healing light can’t go, that’s the unique bit and finally survivor is the proper damage move so removing that makes Heavens a really easy choice to leave alive.

Man i don’t agree with this because Heavens is mainly a FL monsters and any high speed stun is not a good choice nowadays as a FL strategy and as i said above it makes it a target to scarleguard which narrows down its chance to survive so it uses link shield all and ELEM Acceleration and that’s a solid support in the first 200 seconds enough to charge healing light and then survivor imo is one of the best options for it i know you are very conservative on buffs but i don’t think this is too much

It can definitely be used mid-game, especially if stun flash was upgraded to stun wave! Coming in and shielding your team at high speed is good too. Also, you’re thinking only about PvP. Heavenswyrm is excellent in PvE with the high speed stun flash.

With ELEM accelerate instead of stun flash the monster as a whole really wouldn’t be good design. Realistically, the only support it could give in the first 200s would be shielding/accelerating holy teammates. Even link monsters are usually not that narrow! With two moves that require 200s+ to pass first it needs a reasonable way to do that which doesn’t require heavy team building.

I know what you’re saying how in PvP FLs an ELEM accelerate would be great but outside of PvP link holy FLs I think stun flash is generally better and it’s much more fitting for the design of the monster. Typically with buffs I will always recommend to improve the design that’s there rather than alter moves. Stun flash is functional, so it doesn’t need changing.

I think Heavens is just fine honestly… Maybe just adding a second passive would work, kinda HG. For the rest in seems pretty balanced to me…

I don’t want heavenswyrm buffed because then it would be used in the frontline more often and that’s another stealthed mon I have to deal with…
