Hey hey c: I started playing Neo Monsters a few months ago actually, but I can’t get any of my friends interested in playing it with me n’ I wanted some peeps to talk about the game with xD so here I am!
Some tidbits:
I’ve managed to resist the urge to spend money on gems, though I think most of us would agree that it’s extremely tempting sometimes xD
LOVE the new PvP! I think it’s so much fun to go up against other players and see all the different teams and strategies so I can learn and make modifications to my own team. I admit it’s a little discouraging when ya get paired up with a player who has like 6 legendaries, but instead of getting upset I’ll admire the team and skill x3 (if anything, seeing teams like that make me even more determined to keep playing this game so I can catch up!) It’s likely that the person spent money if she’s got that many, but you still hafta do quite a bit of work to get them all ultra-evolved. Plus, I like to think over lots of time and lots of luck you could reach such a point just by collecting gems and hatching eggs over time. We can get there, eventuallyyyyyy!
I think I’m pretty good at making strategies in theory, but I don’t have the monsters I need to actually execute most of them xD like for the longest time I didn’t have a monster that had both sleep and protector killer (which I think including at least one monster with those abilities is crucial for any team, personally), but finally managed to hatch Bluecub a couple days ago. (Blackice/Coldheart/Blizzheart for those like me that have trouble connecting the initial form with its ultra-evolution.) It sure took a while, but that’s one of the things I like about this game- that sense of accomplishment when you finally reap the fruits of your labor xD
I’m open to buddy requests I’d be glad to lend my monsters’ services to anyone who needs the specific skill sets of any of the ones I have to help clear a mission. I do tend to delete friends that are inactive for over a week though.

Really?? That’s awesome Your name does look kinda familiar, I’m pretty sure I’ve seen you in the top 50! I’ve completed the story mode and online adventures, but I’m struggling a bit in the PvP field lolz. Could I ask for some pro tips on how I could better use my monsters to form a more strategic team? I’ve come up with a few different lineups, but they don’t seem to work very well against live players ;w;

another page or two of epics, but I can usually figure out good spots for 'em, it’s just the legends and super epics I have trouble ordering x-x so far I’ve tried putting a poison squadron up front with one purifier, which would be fine except they’re all so slow and usually get killed before they can poison anyone xD so then I tried putting Blizzheart, Gaiakaizer, Blightwyrm, and Ventokaizer up front. This is so far my favorite lineup, but the downside then is that none are left to tack at the back of the team for that potential comeback when you need it, and once those four are out the rest of the team doesn’t seem to pack as much of a punch so to speak. Also tried putting Cryokaizer up front with three other water monsters, but legitimately every time I’ve tried this and gotten a strong opponent, they have a monster with knockback right in the front so it gets pushed back before it can wreak havoc on the other team xD I also kind of sprinkle purifiers and time strikers throughout the rest of the team, but they often die before I can get any real use out of them because the only monsters I have to tank are Epics. The struggle is real… I’ve tried other lineups of course, but those three are probably the most noteworthy. Any suggestions?
Also, if you don’t mind my asking, what team do you use? I see players in the top 50 and can’t help but wonder what kind of monsters they have >w<

I use different teams but my main undefeated team in pvp is https://imgur.com/a/e9qy5
But to help you here
When team building you have to set up around sweepers and place your tanks evenly through out your team in places you feel the previous tank will be dead so you always have a tank on the field
You should place monsters with poison moves 2 spaces behind a poison revenge monster so you can fully utilise them
No team will be perfect but you can remove any major weakness I also would suggest building different teams as well so you can have a wide range to counter any team out there
In regards to the croykaiser problem
I would get a seapup from the offline dungeons
Ultraevolve it so it has stun immunity and give turn this will give you more chances to use it
So a front line of seahowl,cryokaiser,a purify water type and blizzheart would be very good
You could always through carnofrost into the front line if you don’t have a good water purifier
Download the app imgur and use that I can make you team but it’s hard without knowing what you have or team cost
Thank you so much! I hadn’t thought to put Seahowl up front to use its Give Turn move lol, I have much to learn! I’m really glad you mentioned putting poison skill monsters two behind stun revenge monsters- that’s another thing I was struggling with, specifically what to do with my Vulcarexor to get more use out of it. As for tanks, I’ll have to use Epics for the time being, but I’ll get some better tanks eventually >:3
Dang, your team is advanced *~* it must have taken a while to build up, so props to you man :3 do you think it’s possible to reach that caliber without spending money, but compensating with time? And a certain level of dedication, obviously it won’t happen if there is no maintained interest.

It is fully possible to reach it I haven’t spent that much on the game and shomy another player has spent zero dollars in the game if just takes time and patience
I struggled a lot when te game first came out and overlooke heaps of steps that would gave made the game easier and cheaper early on so I like to take the time and help new players not make the same mistake that’s also the reason ic3borm started the rate and build forum
As him and me beat the game with zero legendarys
I did play the game everyday
Before hand and have been through so many teams Te one I’m using now is my favourite since it beats chapter 5 boss while only losing 3 monsters
It is fully possible to reach top 100 using no gems
And top 50 using the gems you get in the game
I talk with the development team sometimes and my main advice is just don’t feel like you need to rush their is a lot more coming android users are yet to be added to the game pvp is still coming a lot of bugs are being worked on and the egg wheel can be controlled to some degree that’s how k got all my legendary monsters
Another bit of advice farm chapter 4 shadow temple it gives the best xp to tickets ratio

No legendaries?? Wow, I had trouble even with my three xD guess that’s a benefit of not having legendaries for the beginning so you’re forced to focus more on strategy to win with the team rather than depend on the strength of a few, plus team cost being too high was pretty annoying.
