Free gems never arrived

In game I received the news that by subbing to fb, twitter and this forum I’d receive 7 total gems. I did but I never received anything.

I tapped on the icons of fb, twitter and forum. It redirected me to the various sites where I proceeded to subscribe. Nothing happened so I returned to the game and nothing was in the rewards

I read in this forum that many users asked for help in the past and some got even been taken for a ride in the answers… very sad. The staff can clearly see if I received or not the reward and send it regardless.

You don’t need to actually subscribe to get the rewards. Just tapping anywhere on the promotional screen should give you a “reward claimed” popup and the rewards will be transferred to your rewards inbox. It can be clunky sometimes and doesn’t register on the first try. Have you tried again?

yep but actually I fear “it” already registered my attempt so even if it’s not clunky anymore, it won’t work now…
I tried anyway multiple times, I’m still subbed btw.

^ This is the support email. If you really can’t get it working then email them with your friend code and restore code where you explain the issue. From my experience with these things you don’t even need to do the thing they ask. You simply click the screen and it takes you to the other page. Go back to Neo Monsters then click the screen again and it should say the rewards have been sent to your inbox. Then check your rewards and the gems should be there.

When you get new rewards it doesn’t always show “1” on the rewards until you’ve done another mission or gone out of the online screen and back into it. Are you sure you just didn’t check properly then you did a mission and claimed it alongside some other rewards without realising?

yep, I’ve done back and forth from the links many times and already checked the rewards inbox in case it needed a little push to be reminded it exists. Empty.

Today I clicked on the 5free gems forum link and it sent me the reward but is it still the same free award? Because the splashscreen seems different than the other day,

as I foresaw, the staff said I earned the gems.
I had 9 before tapping the icons and 9 after. The game, if I tap on the icons, doesn’t tell me “you’ve already earned the prize”.
I strongly recommend to not spend money for this game, the staff insults the players telling them they lie and whatnot.
This goes to the review in appstore, if I manage to covince even just one user to not pay, I’ll be happy with it.

Besides, I’ve made a few alternate accounts and never had problems with this, so it looks to me like you messed something up or forgot that you already claimed everything.

Besides 7 gems is really next to nothing in early game, you will earn it in a few days. Also according to yourself you got the 5 gems so what are you missing? 2 gems? Why bother complaining so much for 2 gems anyway?

In my experience every time there has been a big problem, support has corrected it. For instance once my brother didn’t get his PvP monster reward because of bad connection, we emailed support and they sent him all the rewards. If there is a problem, they will fix it.

@3Clod If they’re saying you got the reward already then it’s probably what I mentioned earlier… it didn’t display that you had a reward then you claimed it later along with other rewards and didn’t realise. I think it’s very unlikely they would see you’ve got the gems but you actually haven’t.

It’s a shame app store reviews get filled with rubbish like this… brand new players who become disgruntled over a few gems, their own mistake or misunderstanding balance in the game. Please don’t let this thing get to you. You’ll get lots of gems from other sources and the game is brilliant fun. I’m truly sorry you’ve had a bad experience so far.

As I said earlier, I already figured in this community there were users insulting new players, telling them their comments are rubbish. It’s enough if one reads back when you guys ridicolized the spanish guy asking for hel and many of you even knew what he was saying but preferred laughing than helping.

As I said earlier I received PART of the gems (5) just yesterday, after trying over and over. Just read back.

I recognize that it’s a petty problem, just a couple gems, a bunch of pixels and in fact I say that it’s very sad that the staff makes a bugged game, asks people to pay for it and then refuses to award a small award to them.

Disgruntled? You seem disgruntled, saying people’s opinions are garbage, I’m just stating a fact. Would you want to censor me? In my opinion it’s important users know where developers work for the games they make and where they just take money the more they can. If you fear people might think twice about joining, well, there’s more important things in life.

Fair point. I still haven’t figured out why some ppl think it’s a good idea to welcome someone to the community by telling them they can’t speak their preferred language.

I know I was tough on you but say you owned an ice cream shop and I didn’t get a flake in my ice cream so I decide to stand outside and tell everyone that your shop doesn’t respect its customers because it doesn’t always give flakes in the ice cream with the hope that I might stop some people going in the shop… that doesn’t seem rubbish to you? What about if there’s a sign in the shop saying “you can have a flake if you ask for one” and I simply didn’t ask at the time?

Some things just come across as a little too petty and from my personal experience reading reviews on the app store I find it very sad to see loads which are complaining about very minor quibbles. The Devs have put a lot of time into creating this excellent game which many people enjoy. Whether or not you managed to get the free gems you were supposed to get should not be something to stop others from trying out and enjoying the game.

Honestly, I don’t mean to push you away but when someone comes across with a bad attitude I’m not always going to be patient and sympathetic. I do wish that you didn’t have problems with these free gems and I hope you continue with the game so you can discover the magic that you’ve managed to download on your phone.

As for the bit about others not being welcomed… yes it’s really disappointing and I hope that the vast majority of new users felt welcomed!

Might I add, that, although it’s unfortunate, It’s not exclusive to this community. If people are being too rude, the moderators are here to correct that.

Regarding your bad experience with the free gems, what happened is unfortunate, but it seems you made a mistake somewhere in the process. We tried to help you, told you what probably happened, you shrugged it off and started pointing fingers. Not the best way to start off is it?
