Hello Neo Monsters Forum! Never thought I’d be making this post, but after a very exhilarating weekend, I was somehow able to get myself a top 1 placement (78k points with 5 tickets to spare), before even getting 10 top 50s or VIP12, all while running HAWKNIGHT in the frontline (take notes blight abusing LOSERS). I lost a total of 5 times in a total of what I think was 86 or 87 matches, putting my win rate for ranked in the low-mid 90s for the ranked season.
What I enjoyed most about this season was certainly NOT the stressful matches after having my first 8 mons oblitered by blight 20+ times, having Mr Xs Emberelle revive to next in line 3 times in a row to cost me a match nearing the end of day 3, or even having Gp73s Pufferfish fail to sudden death my last monster 5 times in a row to lose him the match (iykyk). What made it most memorable was that I decided that it would be fun to stream my matches publicly, which is something that I would bet that nobody, especially someone trying to get a top 1 placement, has ever done. In total, I probably streamed 75-80 of the matches I played, minus some of the ones at the very end when I wasn’t sure if I was going to get #1 or not, or when I was about to max out my tickets.
During these streams, I got to meet & chat with a lot of cool people, such as ACE KoKushibu and NoMercy, who were nothing but kind and encouraging, even when I was crashing out after losing matches! I also want to thank 18deer and Saturn/Naomie for helping me make the right decisions on how to properly queue my matches at the end of day 3, as I had no idea what to do at that point. Lastly, and most importantly, I want to thank 123Banana, who helped coach me to a bunch of wins that I definitely would not have gotten without his help.
To conclude the post, I want to say thank you to the people mentioned above, everyone who tuned into the streams and supported me, and ESPECIALLY those who took down the guy in 2nd place! I could not have done it without you guys.

, and tbh you definitely had it secured ,when we saw you on top 1 at the 2md day , but that 3rd day got a little stressing , because I think you lost like 3 on that single day alone, and bit of rng sometimes In favor , sometimes in not, but overall fun to watch a top 1 streaming his matches . It was very interesting and , then of course your team is not the best probably, and not the best collection. but the way your team mostly locked the opponent in fl, and mid control was very hilarious too . I’m a total nobody but talking to you and being a part of this just makes me happy totally deserved it.
