I am surprised that evertale is making more money than neo, I deleted at after 2 days because I found it dull…

Maybe the problem is me

Evertale fits the market better, especially for Japanese players. It’s a big P2W gacha game with overcomplicated intricate details in the skills that make it feel very strategic but ultimately it comes down to sweeping + protectors because there are only 8 in a team and control strategies are kept in check too much (plus higher stats from going P2W trump any strategy because it means your critical moves one-shot their characters and theirs don’t one-shot yours). This design makes people feel clever but doesn’t require them to be and it rewards spending massively, so spenders are happy.

Strategy-wise, Neo has so much more depth to it. I think that’s why many of us would find Evertale quite dull in comparison (if you can also ignore the art style difference). It’s still fun, but nowhere near the same as we’ve got here. Unfortunately though, we’re a small section of a much larger potential market for games in this genre and P2W + simpler strategy + anime boobs is a more successful model for short-term money making. If you get lucky and the game goes high in the charts you keep attracting new players and it does exceptionally well, but not necessarily in the long-term.

I wish Evertale the very best and if ZigZaGame wants to try and repeat this success with another game then they can go ahead and take that gamble. However, trying to morph Neo Monsters into Evertale at this stage by simply shifting the art style is neither playing to the strengths of Neo nor will it work because it won’t suddenly jump into the charts and go trending unless you do a big advertising campaign. Maybe that’s what the Evertale income should fund… advertising for Neo that highlights its strengths and aims to bring in a huge number of new players to get Neo in the charts too. We’ve got a very well fleshed out game here so I’d argue it has more potential for sticking in the charts over a longer period of time.

Nope. You are not the problem. I did the same.
But I play it when there’s nothing left to play :joy::joy::joy:

Is server running low or I have an issue donno. I am unable to connect to server about 1 hr is there any update coming or any changes happening. Just wanna know the problem is in my phone or in server.

@Killerdog I came to this game after quitting another gacha game, War of the Visions. Pretty much how you described Evertale.
My account is 7 days old, I’ve managed to defeat some good teams with my shadow team. The main part was team building. Starting off, I used a storm team in PVP because it had the best wild monsters, many 2* or less. And I didn’t have galvit. On realising I had a good number of shadow monsters, I created a PvP team, this is after I captured Noxar. With Necropion in my collection now(awesome) I have built a team ignoring many SEs, but a team that works many combos, so many possibilities
The P2W players will never experience this, which is one of the core aspects of the game, developing the monsters, even of you pay
I’ve encountered one team(twice) with absolute monsters(;P), but also a team properly built. The only player I faced that I surrendered instantly on match, because I know exactly how it’s going to play off. Intelligent thing there, and none of the spam tactics. Most teams I face are ultra-evolved Legendaries and SEs randomly put together which I can beat. Which is surprising, and I’m happy for it, a bit of strategy trumps rashly collecting the so called best and putting them together. My shadeswan is a nightmare for my enemies, and I’ll not have anyone tell me otherwise
Now I’ll be back to absolutely smashing superior teams, don’t mind me

Great to hear it. Strategy is a really big part of this game and I’m glad you’re finding that very satisfying. Good luck with the game!
