She was only strong in OoO, she wasnt powerful outside of it, she wanst like vixienblade where you slap him anywhere and he be great, or now gavelbane get two kills for 80tu on a 90 speed monster.
Everyone thought she was powerful due to the sleep immunity working with OoO, if water carmilla was introduced before any nerfs her strategy would have ended right there
Even if the nerfs are reverted now she wouldnt be as powerful
i strongly disagree a decently fast potent sweeper who is likily to kill 3 times in 170 seconds wile being tanky having hg and has the potential to heal
she offers about as much as a nat’ur if nat’ur had some bulk and dident die to a stiff breeze
she is still a strong S tier mythic like she was on release and nothing has changed that
one monster exsisting being an ok counter to one strategy does not make a monster worse. you just have to get good and try something diffrent with her like a lemon EG
your mistaken that she gets 3 kills guaranteed because you have forgotten that her moves are restricted, one she needs a target to be faster then her then a target slower then her.
Which already in itself makes her a bit gimmicky, if a player is running slow monsters with shield or holding she would need to complete the entire cycle before getting a single kill at 170tu, and her next kill would be another 170tu
Maybe if they shortened the cycle where crescent and gibbous are both useable after new moon it would had made a little bit of compensation as she would not be gimmicky and only need 3 moves to get to full moon
Oh and i remember a fifth nerf was to gibbous where it no longer deals critical damage to monsters at the same speed as her.
All of these nerfs in what a span of less then 3 months of release, talk about false advertisement.
Then this all cries pvp bias. All monsters have their value whether its pvp or pve, and if some monster is changed to make it more balanced in pvp then that’s fair. Like purple is saying:
That all said, it might not be “broken” in pvp anymore, it is still usable in pvp, and still a beast in pve. This is not a huge nerf that even would deserve refunds, as they only did small changes and not complete rework. You are just mad you rolled for a pve monster without realising it lmao
I do agree with you , the community accept easily nerfs of new monsters after being introduced, like it’s a must , while devs can just test and make balanced new monsters and stop the power creep selling — > nerf process no one want that except them
So i think most people overlook something precarious,
Since their is never any compensation for any major nerfs,
They might never do that because releasing a new monster with broken movesets will promote gem sales hence revenue, afterwards lesser nerfs happen & situation is somewhat handled.
Mr.X has been asking for compensation since 2018 i think, it has never happened,
Well, that’s precisely because he’s the only one who does it. People are more aggressive in asking for nerf than for a refund. If people had the same energy for that, things would have changed. Most here don’t care because it doesn’t affect them (they can always pay), but for a f2p the nerfs are so annoying especially when you have invested all the gems
Calling Selene weak is wild. 51 tu moves on any mon that can get kills in that short amount of time are always considered the “fast sweeper”. Pair in ridiculous self-healing, being a tank and immunity to disruption and sleep.
She’s more often than not the biggest threat. Pair in some other decent stuff like Soral+plume or whatever, Selene will sweep just as well as soral combo by itself.
As for Nightingale. The fact that Eathanasia can only be used if there is a mon on the field with a kill, means it should be treated as a focus slayerbane instead of focus retaliate. At least in 2nd form. Awakened it costs a lot to do.
Its not that most people don’t care, its just you think we haven’t asked for compensation all this time,
We have been asking for it, & mr x has been the most vocal about it, but regrettably our words fall on deaf ears .
A good solution would be,
If any monster has been heavily nerfed, there should be proper compensation with regard to all the gems were used to pull that monster,
There will be option given to player,
If you want compensation for the nerf, you’ll have to return the monster away for that compensation.
That will make it fair, and next time in future if that monster is buffed with balance, people can still roll for that monster.
For lesser nerfs, small amount of gems as compensation would suffice without returning the monster.
If that method is implied, this will lead to : devs/balance team will need to release monsters who are balanced & they cant use the current method where they sometimes release broken tier monster & people just pour their gems into those banners
I have been asking for a proper compensation system since the game lunched before 2018, but community are not supportive, the paying customers always can pay and get the most powerful monsters and face no issues, but when mythics get a discount to allow f2p and players to catch up, they lose there minds. As for F2P players alot of them might not be affected if something such a mythic is nerfed as the majority probably dont have that monster to being with, for those that do have the monster its not just annoying beyond imagination. Its all that hard work countless hours grinding and money just to be swept away
A proper solution when a nerf happens no matter big or small, the players should have the option to return the monster, its impossible to return the gems as this would require huge data collection on every player but a simple way is to return it in a form of a 7star ticket for mythics atleast, each shard equals a 7star ticket. That way if players want to return the monster they can and not lose the value. And in future if they want it back they have to roll for it
