I have run into an issue with spinning duplicates for the egg.
First of all I think a 4-8 second speed up is minimal and of less value than another monster, even if it’s just 4 stars. A re-spin or more significant time decrease is needed.
I have also run into a more specific issue with a particular monster which I happened to get twice. The earliest form of Draconaught. Originally, Draconaught had Gigaflame (200s), Stealth (100s), Life flip all (100s), and 400s bomb (100s). 400s bomb is obviously one of the most powerful attacks as it can take out 4 enemies. Unfortunately, I spun a duplicate and the times decreased to 193s, 96s, 96s, 96s respectively. While this might seem like an advantage, it actually makes reaching the 400s mark more difficult and renders that attack less useful. Originally, two gigaflames or one gig aflame, one stealth and one life flip would allow me to reach the 400s mark and use the bomb and my next attack. With the reduced times, I now have to use an additional attack to reach 400s and Draconaught is killed more frequently before I get to use it.
This illustrates perhaps an unintended adverse effect of the way duplicates are handled. I’ve arguably received a disadvantage for purchasing an egg, which strikes me as unfair.
yep, duplicates are very annoying. I myself have a number of duplicates as well as a quadruple frostbrave. while he actually got a bit better with roughly 9% less tu, 3 other monsters wouldve made a much bigger difference.
Well I really like the game, so I’m willing to spend money, but if you spend around 50€ and mostly get doubles it’s really annoying. Hopefully they change something, at least you should get more percent for each double.
The chances of getting doubles shouldn’t be as high as they are too. When I bought my first set of gems (48), I got 3 duplicates. That shouldn’t happen in a million years. 900 monsters, and getting 3 duplicates in the first 9 spins…
Have you considered on your fourth attack when you would normally use the 400sec bomb using skip. I think people really underestimate this function. It’s useful when you need to keep timestrikers behind AOE enemies instead of ahead. Or vise-versa putting your AOE strikers behind timestrikers waiting to take your guy out after they use a 200 tu attack. You dont always have to use an attack if it doesnt serve a bigger strategic purpose or end-game is my point here.
Yep, duplicates are one of the dumbest and greediest things I’ve seen in an IOS game, Developers really didn’t think that one through, or they did and just decided to be as greedy as possible.
Just like the guy above, if he buys like 50 gems and gets multiple duplicates, or even ONE out of… HOW MANY MONSTERS???
Lets say I rolled 20 gold eggs and got 3 duplicates… I’m not gonna think “damn, I should buy 3 more eggs”… I’m thinking “wow this game is fk ing r3tard3d”.
