Idek how to describe that THING

I know this monster was chatted about elsewhere a little, but I don’t think we opened an official poll thread for it.

I haven’t had a chance to try this out in PvE properly, but this is clearly the next Purpie / Vinegazer super epic that will get people free wins in hard content. There’s enough camouflage and nasty revenges now that it won’t be as reliable as those originally were, but it literally sets itself up! For now, I love the design and hope people enjoy playing with it.

In PvP this monster is very unusual to play. It’s kind of funny, but might also be very annoying for some players.

Here are ways to beat it, assuming you can’t kill it with a void move right away:

  1. Ignore it entirely and spam power slash with the Neoroach. This way you are both permanently playing with 3 monsters, with theirs simply doing a stronger power slash (or roach scourge, if they have other poison in their team).

  2. Give them 3 Cyberoaches, then refuse to give them the 4th. Again, you spam power slash. This can make the battle a 3v1 for you. Or, more accurately, the 3 Cyberoaches together fight more like a single mythic so it’s like 3v2 in your favour.

  3. Kill it repeatedly if you can before it gives you a Neoroach. It might keep reviving, but you can always fall back to either of the above strategies.

It should go without saying… if you take approaches 1 or 2 then ideally you want to have some way to backstab the Neoroach. If you can ever do that, it should prevent the opponent getting all four Cyberoaches they need.

I think this is a little too clumsy tbh. I can see it needing a specific setup to work kinda like purpie.

The toxic entrance is always an annoying move to have on your team since it requires a way of your other monsters dealing with the poison.

Or, and hear me out, you just backbite/convert/sendback the baby roach

Its a one use move the enemy now on a permanent disadvantage

That’s what the last paragraph of my post says :stuck_out_tongue: I know my post was a long one and I didn’t label it clearly because I was trying it to two of the numbered ideas

Ah yeah my bad again lol! It wassent labled as a way to deal with it so i dident pay enough attention to it

This guy is super rad and epic so i plan to make a team for him
