Are these the three matches we’re doing in the group stage? I.e. Depending on who we fight first, second and third we use a different team for each under these conditions. Or are these three teams we play against each opponent as a best of three?

I will release a schedule. This schedule will determine which match will be played under which special Rules. I will be like:

1. Matchday (First Match restrictions)

Player A vs Player B
Player C vs Player D

2. Matchday (Second Match restrictions)

Player A vs Player C
Player B vs Player

And the same procedure for the third matchday

First battle I’m assuming any unevolved monsters still count as what they’d be if evolved? E.g. Unevolved legendaries are 6*, unevolved super epics are 5* and don’t count towards the 0-4*.

First battle I’m assuming mythics count the same as legendaries here… you must have a 0-4* monster to counteract it in the team. Or are mythics banned to keep it fairer for those who don’t have awakened mythics?

Third battle are we allowed to use monsters with stun/protect skills as long as we don’t use that move? e.g. Novadrake has stun wave but he’s also a good raw monster.

Yes, as long as you dont use the banned skill you can use the monster. All kind of auto protects are banned though.

• For battle 2, since we must include our captain in our team I’m guessing the element of our captain must be one of the two elements we pick? The rules were we have to use our captain and only to use our vice captain instead if our captain breaks the rules for that match.

Right, since you have to use your captain and with the elements being up to every players choice no captain is banned by this restrictions. Only exception would be that you would choose two elements other than your captains element but with this choice you would ban your own captain on purpose and that would be clearly against the intention of the captain rule. To put things in a nutshell: Your assumption is correct!

I’ve just built my team for it and I’m really happy except the cost is 208 grrr. This tournament is definitely a team building competition more than the matches themselves.

For battle 2.

Say you pick holy and dark for example and you have atra and lion. If you steal an opponents monster which happens to be a different element are you breaking the rules? Or are you okay because your initial team is holy and dark. Ps I don’t have atra just trying to clarify

Stealing an opponents monster is totally fine. If it wasn’t you could make your opponent lose by using horrorclaw and that definitely wasn’t the intention of the rule
