… almost 7k attack…
I have a question
does this awaken chronozeros have a certain time limit or not?
It’s a permanent addition to the game. Now Chronozeros is basically a legendary that takes some effort to farm, which becomes a mythic if you use 9 legendary potions on it
Danke @EBO
Das design ist der wahnsinn die skills naja …
Für ein erwachten mhytos sind die sekunden der attacken viel zu hoch .
Die geheime Fähigkeit ist sehr gut
i just got him and tbh i would choose him over kuraokami everyday
just give him is 60 speed back
The seconds of his skills are a little to high .
Raw bloodfury will be better for him
MASAKAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
I will take a page out of @LemonSqueezy team building guide to analyze this Chronozillion.
His regular moveset is really nothing special, so at 14 cost for this thing you would be better off literally playing any other Stun Immune monster. Doesn’t do much being Stun Immune when his moves TU are so high he will only get one turn anyways, if that if you take into his slow speed. So according to the guide, this 14 cost Mon MIGHT be able to kill 1 monster at best before it’s removed from the field. Since that could be any number of monsters, including mythics, one could assume his one move use could account for his 14 cost being a neutral element against opposing teams. Not very good on the surface.
Below the surface, we look at his moveset and passives. He has no ability that gives him piercing, no piercing moves either (the Void move doesn’t even pierce lol wut) and with the recent Stun Nerf that came in the same update, that Time strike All won’t be killing anything, let alone multiple monsters. With the plethora of Shield Entrance mons and Shielding ability mons increasing more and more, the chances of him having a target that isn’t shielded or has Hold Ground is very small. Take into account also the LINK Fire Nerf, which has been the mainstay for Poison teams through and through, means that Poison will be far less featured so it makes the protection and Hold Ground mons far more prevalent, which further hinders Chronozillion to be able to make an impact.
Let’s look at the SS, maybe it’s a saving grace? The cost of this monster is 17 and using his SS means you get to add the equivalent of 40 Team Cost, so seams good according to that designation. The four monsters you add are SEs at the end of your team, Galvbane, Rexkong, Viridizardon, and Wolf guy (I forget his name…), The first of which just got a massive nerf in Stun Pulse TU 100 and whom was only really ever seen in FL for teams and the latter 3 never actually seeing competitive success in any form. These are all also without bonuses -_-, multiple strikes there. The mail in the coffin is the move being 170TU at +9, a very high TU for an SS that grants you no immediate advantage, and actually puts you at a disadvantage by making the game a 3v4 for 170seconds.
In an overall summation, this monster is very disappointing. Chrono has neither the speed nor the abilities to be of any real use on a competitive team without building heavily around a monster that will just underperform and can be outshined by any number of monsters at a fraction of the cost.
Yes, it’s a “free mythic” minus the cost of copious time and 9 Legendary Potions that would be much better off on a different monster, and free or not, poop is still poop.
Can anything save this monster? Hmm… Maybe, and this is a longshot here, but give him something that makes him capable of getting an extra turn or two? Stun Counter/Converter even would be better than Stun Immune, the ability just has no place on a monster with such high TU moves.
Me & my friend actually thought about a void fastbreaker or a timecrush all instead… haha
Decent analysis, however you really spoke only about the negative stuff. Void Faststrike and Bloodfury are good upgrades. With give turn, you can dispatch a couple of problematic monsters with these moves, and slash all + give turn into Bloodfury is also useful for finishing off low HP monsters with Hold Ground and getting a bonus kill. Hence it’s likely to get a kill or at least a crit when it gets a turn. Another positive thing about Chronozillion is, that it’s not weak to many moves. Demoralize, You’re grounded and stun immune punisher come to mind but not many monsters have those moves. Stun Converter would make it weak to chrono killer which is way more popular.
However, I agree that it’s a D tier mythic at best. Other monsters are way more effective in getting kills with lower TU. Timestrike all was a bit of a scuffed move anyway and this guy can use it 3 times? You now have access to a bad move 3 times, yay! Also, I agree that it’s very ironic that it was revealed with the MASSIVE stun nerf. You also need to build around Chronozillion for it to have an impact. It won’t probably be very usable in high level PvP but can be useful in PvE and can elevate the level of a new player’s team until they can upgrade to something better. Also I have to say that the +9 legendary potion requirement is a bit ridiculous and veterans got a big advantage from that.
My verdict: It’s not brilliant but has its uses and will definitely be a useful tool for newer players. Also, the +9 legendary potion requirement is very annoying (this will be by far the biggest challenge for newer players). However, players with vast monster collections won’t find him very valuable because better options exist even in the legendary category.
Give him is inicial speed back wich was 60% and reverse faststrike nerf to 130sec again
Voila is good now
Im not ok with slash all tho union slash or something would be great
I agree with the majority of your points, although I fail to see how this is of any use to newer players whatsoever. Grinding day to day and with the rate of Moalith Event alone, getting just to Chronozeros will take a new player 3-4 months? Then you get 2 Legendary potions from the Online section so that’s helpful, then you still need 7 more and for a new player let’s assume they get 40000 RP in a season so that’s 1 Leg pot per month (maybe 2 from some random other things) so it would take about 4 months to acquire the Legendary pots necessary to make him a mythic.
I’m gonna say a new player grinding everyday doing everything they can, in theory, could awaken Chronozeros into Chronozillion in 6 months from starting the game from scratch. 6 months into the game and that many PvP battles in just for the materials alone, any new player will have acquired far better mons than this and would see that it’s not effective for them to dump those resources into.
That’s just my opinion, but there it is.
I think people are being a bit too quick to judge Chronozillion before trying it properly themselves. It’s nothing super strong, but for 14 cost I think it’s a great offer. It’s too easy to be critical of all the things which hold it back from being amazing I guess
I thought about that. It really depends on how people use their gems. Otherwise it will be hard to awaken mythics in 6 months unless you have insane luck.
I did some testing with an alt account. I barely played with it, just rolled shrines and wanted to know how long would it take to awaken a Mythic as a complete F2P. I decided to awaken Kuraokami because of the assorted offer. I started the account after the first shrine back when 120 gems was one of the rolls. I didn’t miss any shrine since. I finally got the last Kuraokami shard last time when it was featured in the gold egg like a week ago. So with the most passive method possible, it took over a year to awaken it.
infernicorn, link fire
Of the goal is just to get an awakened mythic, then absolutely this is the easiest and fastest method possible for a new player. It still stands to reason that most Legends and alot of SEs outshine Chronozillion or do it’s function that much better imo.
Huh?
I’ve no idea, but if I had to hazard a guess maybe he’s stating a random legend that is by all intents and purposes vastly superior to Chronozillion?
I realize that my posts are putting Chrono in an intently negative light, and maybe it’s unfair to judge it that way, but I do feel justified in my statements as this is a monster who since it’s very first nerf has been near useless to most players, and who now gets the “gimmick” of being a free mythic when, in truth, his Mythic form is still far worse than his original Legendary form at release (pre-nerf).
Honestly if the only change between Mythic and Legendary form was the attack buff and reverting his speed to his release speed, he would be above and beyond better than what we have right now, and for the amount of time we have been asking for Chrono to be something better than a benchwarmer, giving him the “free mythic” gimmick that makes it barely any better than he was feels like a slap in the face to me.
i wouldn’t be surprised if one day we got a legendary form for bitterbeast.
