And there’s something I want to ask for sometimes.
So, I have almost 80 gems and want to spend it on something.
I’ve been waiting to spend it to get Novadrake from the newcomer egg banner but I heard that the Neo Monsters anniversary is coming in the next month…
And I’m pretty picky on what to choose where I spend my gems.
Should I spend it to get Novadrake or save it for the anniversary?
(Btw, I’m not that new in Neo Monsters and never experienced Neo Monsters’ anniversary before. I just lost my old account which has 2 mythical monsters )

I have no idea how to grind that many gems if my team is not something that can be used to battle to get gems (e.g. PVP, Dungeon Challenge, Games of Hordes, Whale’s Treasure, and Super Challenge)
Let’s see… You have 80 gems now, there will be at least one shrine before anniversary and probably one during that. Additionally, during anniversary they usually give away 30+ gems. If you play during all this time you will also earn gems so after the anniversary you’ll quite comfortably have 200 gems I think, which is almost half way already.
Did you only just start with that account? If yes, then gathering all those gems can be challenging but I still recommend to do it. Sometimes the 500 gems shrine can give you 400+ free gems which is just insane and would take months to grind without the shrine.
I may sound repetitive, but I reached 500 gems when I started my 2nd account without spending any gem in 46 days.
You’re not a total newbie to the game, so you’ll be able to play just fine with the guaranteed monsters.
Trust us, save for the shrine, because in anniversary, just in a month time, you’ll get bunches of gems and you’ll get a neo ticket to choose a mythic monster.
You’ll regret if you spend your almost 100 gems now, you’re almost 1/5th there.
If you play until after anniversary and collect many gems in PvE, you’ll probably have like 300+ gems after anniversary. Just use Noxdragon, Demontoad and Bitterbeast and you can hit through a lot of PvE events. Manti is strong, Chronox, you can also build just nicely with the six 5* monsters. Open friend chest and rare gems to get monsters.
Share your friend code and probably a few of us will add you as friend and you can use our monster and we can use yours.
Remember, if you open at Novadrake banner, if you get him by luck, great, but if not, you’re at zero, and you have only two times 10 eggs.
I can do that and wait for the shrine and the anniversary and I was thinking of focusing on Manti.
Bitterbeast isn’t really that easy to catch while Noxdragon catch rate is not that big, only around 21% and Chronox is tricky, especially with the ingredients.
I’ll go for the guardian monsters alongside Manti.
And also grinding the events, stories, and quests.
