I doubt they thought about only ducy as a non AP monster being in the FL being protected by 10 more AP incoming
It’s not even about duscy imo. Shields are easy enough to deal with, it’s not knowing who you’re going to hit. It’s complete luck!! No matter how well you have built your team, you cannot target the AP you want and know for sure it will hit it if there’s another one on the field.
I know there are some players who when I play them, I can win if I happen to hit the AP I intend to and I’ll lose if I can’t.

We are aware of that and do love how Protector works in Evertale.
We will spend more time to assess and figure out this issue in the next update.
Well, my opinion is that if the devs buff the self-protectors will then stop using the protectors, and everything will be based on self-protection, as is the game I think it is correct, in all video-games there is rng, that is something that exists in this world , I don’t think it would be convenient to do that because they are called self-protective for something, now that it is not 100% protective of all attacks, I think that is feasible, if they change that then it would not be necessary to use any protector when you have a good amount of self-protectors. I hope that doesn’t change.
