Can we have the 5th monster hiding mechanics implemented for good?

Looks like I don’t think alike none of you

You think too much on “how hard it is” or “how this will impact”

Me I think like “Is fair not to know what is coming next”

So you think on consequences, I think on fair game mechanics.

Will change everything for everyone, we will need to build team differently and prepare ourselves for unexpected situations.

But hey guys if you want to see what is coming next, go on then. I don’t mind, game is been like this forever, this would be a radical change.

I really hope they give a thought to my idea despite having most of the community against (I am totally used to it so make no difference)

In general this special rule benefits AP spam, strong entrances, high speed monsters, low TU sweeping and generally powerful teams (e.g. mythic spam). It has strategic gameplay as a smaller component because you have less information to work with (some of the most strategic games have all things revealed and it’s a battle of the minds to out manoeuvre the opponent).

Like you say, it would be a drastic change. The things it benefits are pretty much all things the community does not want to see made stronger and most people are here playing the game because they like the strategy elements of it.

Aye I’m with you

You probably are with me only because you find it easier to play  not because you think is a fair feature to add.

I am not making this post out of interest, fact is I didn’t play not even one game. I only find it a good mechanic to add.

Entrances are too far gone for this to be permanent. I have a stun team that hasn’t lost once out of 15 matches simply because the opponent cannot plan accordingly to knowing stun is coming

When they affect both players equally, almost all game mechanics are inherently fair. The problem, therefore, is how they can be taken advantage of(aka consequences)

Exactly this. And Sherlock’s comment

Is very bad this idea

Dude we had great matches earlier. I can’t remember who won but I had headaches during the games. GGs @TNCXWHITEXROSE

U have being playing with no sense for these many years?

This rule is pretty funny. I’ve had my fun watching players afraid when attacking cause they don’t know what’s coming next, others attacking with no fear and then getting stunned by surprise. But this is certainly something that can not stand. I see your point, but I think it wouldn’t be good for the game.
Planning your moves is the base of any strategy, and this is a strategy game. Playing blind, taking decisions without knowledge of it’s possible consequences, is exactly the opposite of planning.
As you said, you have 4 monsters (or ladies in bikini). You can’t be prepared for anything with only those 4, so you prepare for what it’s already on the field and what you see is coming next (which in a whole, allows you to imagine the possible following monsters)

This says everything. Go play a few matches and you will probably change your mind

Besides, we only normally see the next entering monster and nothing about all the rest. Imo it would be too RNG if we were blind all the time. However, it’s an interesting concept for a passive and could/should have been used in some boss fights we encountered during the story.

I think it would be very interesting as an occasional twist too!! But I wouldn’t like it if it was the norm. Entrance control is something I think is core to the game, I’d prefer if it remained.

What ‘fair game mechanics’ are you refering to? In a PvP environment, almost all mechanics are inherently fair.

Excellent points raised above. The best suggestion is having a monster with a passive which masks the next monster

Neo community you are welcome for this special rule.

I like that it adds an extra bit of chaos to matches, but I agree that it would be too much if it was permanent

Adding that as a part of skip ban would be a nice little buff to the mythic

@Dev_VKC here is a great idea for the next pvp season:

No Skipping PvP and a single force skip is an auto loss :eyes:

Thank you for the inspiration @GMagic and Lemon
