Hi everyone. I have played, and won, this latest battle three times but have not been awarded the crown beastie.
I already have one in my holdings from the previous challenge.
Am I only able to hold one at a time or is this a bug?

Sorry to ask but did you beat the challenge while the crown was in the al team?
The only way to get one is to win when the crown be in the opponent team.
Sorry again but asking to make sure this is a bug not a misunderstanding.

I think you’re not limited to hold one crown and do take note that you may only get the crown from the event if you have battled with it, if it didn’t appear during the battle then you won’t be awarded the crown. 
I have 2 crowns, so you definitely can hold 2.
You need to actually encounter a crown and beat it to get it.
If you can still enter the event, then you haven’t encountered it, yet.
If you encountered and beat it, then the event will tell you “You have already finished playing this event.” when you try to enter it.

If it doesn’t look like that for you, then you have yet to encounter the crown.

Ah, thanks people. I think that might be the problem. I don’t recall seeing the crown in the enemy’s team…all three times!!!
I don’t know *why* the system would allow us to blow 30 tickets on a challlenge each time when there was no way of winning the prize, but there you go.
Very frustrating.
Well it is a rare ingredient but don’t worry, the 30 tickets are not a waste if you don’t see the crown, it gives you good exp so you can comeback until you get the crown to get exp. 
I agree,this challenge was too easy and exp was good too,the problem now is no new event until 5-6 Jan,I’m tired of waiting
Damn Jan 5 is my deadline, hahaha, I need to reach lvl 45 fast to get the omegamid event and after that focus on the tower challenge to get the SE mon. 
If only the Vorabook was easier to get. My team really sucks and I’m counting on being able to evolve the Emeraldus to enable me to get a little further into the Story Challenges, Side Challenges and the battle happening from the main page!
