Hey guys, how will we know if we’ve been chosen to conduct the beta testing for monster island?
You should be contacted through your account or possibly via email I can’t remember from the last time
The Devs or Ryan/Another Admin will make a thread saying who was picked, as well as an email I believe, and an account notification.
I would be shocked if they announced who got beta, thats really not neccessary for those not chosen to know.
Also, Ryan is one of the devs. 
To answer, you will get a mail if youre chosen, and the application thread will be locked. if you dont get a mail and the threads were locked you were not chosen, at least for that wave.
I’ll put it to the rest of you this way:
For those who were here during the HI beta, did you actually know who all got in? Or did you think you knew everyone who played the beta?
There were quite a few more people that y’all didn’t talk with that participated in the beta. I don’t even think those that participated knew who all was in the beta, myself included
Hopefully none the people chosen are just going to play the game and never talk again
There were actually quite a few beta testers who barely or never posted in the beta testing forums. However, I do remember one or two testers who were actually very active despite not posting and contacted the developers in some other way. I believe one of them had relayed information through another tester. I think it was Ashley, but I can’t really remember.
Either way, yes, there were a bunch of testers that were chosen, yet weren’t too prominent on the forums. So you needn’t worry about your reputation or anything of the sort. What sort of device you have and how much time you can dedicate will probably take priority.
