Just wondering if anyone can advise the best mon to canabalize with Atrahasis to charge blood crave and others with retribution. Are there any death revenge style moves that will hit enemies when a friendly kills them.
Try a monster with a revenge skill. Payback is recommended
There are quite a few:
• Monsters with Single Sleep Revenge
• Monsters with Sleep All Revenge (I think they’re only Balancion, Solflare, Solblaze)
Those two are powerful because the ability to instantly put a random enemy to Sleep, or the chance to put multiple enemies to sleep, is something that can really swing a match.
• Monsters with Poison Revenge/Poison Revenge All
Use that to set up your Poison monsters. Poison Revenge All also helps monsters like Freezecobra, Terrordragon, Polaboss, Pumpking which benefit from being poisoned/having poisoned allies.
Toxic Entrance has been nerfed (100sec restriction from the start of battle), but it’s still possible to use fast monsters like Ziberius or Geomagnus to kill a Poison Revenge All ally.
• Nebelronix/Cosmodragon
Nebelronix and Cosmodragon have two powerful Revenge effects: Divine Shield (shields all allies) and Death Revenge. While cannibalizing them will NOT activate Death Revenge, Divine Shield does.
This may seem like it’s a wasted Death Revenge, but if you use Blood Clone with Nebel/Cosmo and then Swift Cannibalize them with Atrahasis, you will shield your whole team, Atrahasis will have Bloodcrave charged and you can Necromancy Nebel/Cosmo back to life the turn after.
• Monsters with Stun Revenge
This is more advisable in PvE, where the AI doesn’t know that Stun is meta. There are a lot of low cost Stun Revenge monsters, like 1 cost Grizzpunk.
Be careful though, do NOT use Single Stun Revenge monsters unless you have an ally with Stun Counter: Single Stun Revenge will target Atrahasis!
