Just wondering what type of starting lineups dominate pvp currently, with all the new legendaries etc
Chrono.
Chrono x2 Put some Leo in there too, bit of Robin, bit of Galv, Basically if you face someone outside the forum you have 90 % chance at least two of them will be in their lineup. The Guys from here still come around with some more unique lineups. At least some of them.
At the moment it’s either night night turbo (nightrider, night hunter, leogeist and shiva) or chrono lines, and variations on those. There are some other options in between for countering those but the strongest front lines right now basically have nightrider or chronozeros
Although i might add its a risk to run nighthunter in the FL. Hes basically rexkong food and if there is another strong and fast AoE guy, kami, gallio or shado, also nightrider becomes useless I feel like the real pvp mvp beside poison will be burnsalot. Seen a few nice setups with him, paired with serazael hes so deadly, given that he basically kills 2 enemys with one charge.
As a fellow nightrider enthusiast, I’ve been meaning to ask you what your frontline is.
Is it worth it to attack boost with nightrider, use survivor and then lifeflip into some kind of team turn? Or will you just get focused down too quickly? I just about only play PvE despite having nightrider, and it always works against the computer.
No need to attackboost coz of DA,just survivor then lifeflip, team turn, giveturn
Currently I’m running nightrider, lavaronix, tiamazus and midasdragon, with Serapheon at 5. The positive is that it beats chronozeros lineups relatively easily, and the large majority of anti meta lines can do very little to stop it even if they ultradusk all to slow down nightrider, since tiamazus can pick up a few kills.
The downside is that you lose to leogeist front lines unless you get lucky with the midas death revenge, but fixing that ruins too many other matchups, so imo it’s not worth it
I know, but if you use survivor first, then life flip, you end up with more than 1 health on nightrider, but he’ll still be in the red zone. This means that you can survive poison revenge or take one attack.
In PvP it won’t matter. He usually does after the first DA. Your strategy should instead be to get DA off as fast as possible.
ah, thanks.
My lineup rn is flarevern, chronozar, alphagear and serazael. I love it because the whole thing is stun immune, rendering Galvbane useless along with robinator, and once they get their turns, I can mow down up to 5 enemies straight.
I hate legend TT aegis nightrider and tiamazus, its wreck anything lol
Remus,chronozeros,galvabane,Legend TT
You can also use him with leo, ogre and nighthunter. Quick stealth with ogre, flip, with nighthunter, DA all. Counters chronozeros every single time, since they mostly rely on knock back or galv, which both cannot be used here. Afterwards you normaly lose nightrider, which gives you another kill with ogre.
Sry, but I’m a noob. What is Chrono? Can you send a photo of your lineup?
chronox, your free legend. ATM he’s a little bit too powerful.
And yet he is being wrecked in PVP by night night and other set ups.
How about we nerf night rider too ROFL
Night night strategy is out of control in PVP.
Night night is extremely easy to counter, any sort of attack that puts nightrider to half health renders him completely useless.
Chronox requires 2 ultra attacks to kill, outspeeds pretty much everything relevant except nightrider and is able to secure a kill instantly with no setup.
If you’re wondering why night night is so prevalent as you go up the ranks, consider that it has a very good matchup against chronox teams and in the mirror match it’s relatively even. Also the main counter to night night is sleep (at least without banedragon), which suddenly seems very scarce at the moment
we have the exact same set up.
just so you know, our lineup is very vulnerable to night night and sets up with leo, chronozeros, aegis, and TT.
