If you start this game and spend gems, you’ll never progress. Where’s the fun supposed to be? The only goal is to collect gems to awaken a Mythic monster. Forget PvP, forget events. Do you think this is fun? He only saved gems because I explained how it works. A beginner without guidance will never achieve anything. I ask you, what’s the fun in this? If I were a new player I would visit the forum first and know this that hu shin is a terrible choice for a beginner. Even drakion is better than that.

In my opinion , for a beginner , drakion , atlanachia , carmilla , Gabrielle , lumi and best Cynthia should be enough. She’s very useful in both ultra and awakened forms( though huge stats difference , but still decent)
Hu shin , iride golia, are poor choices . Very high tt being the problem and almost useless movestat. The other mythic’s are well in pvp. For a beginner these would be enough to get anyone over the online main story and other half the events( the easy ones of course , like crowns and jewels, okkults invitation, verosia defence etc. for scb and biweekly or any other tougher events more powerful metas are required!
Zephy is fine though , if you have a good lineup

the best awaken at the moment are tengoku than alice.
tengoku will carry him the best because she can copy what ever monster the opponent has

Thank you so much for replying. Tenguko is a good option; she can copy any monster and is quite strong. However, Alyce is very dynamic and complex, a brutal killer who can cause numerous casualties.
Finding the best option is complicated; we must choose the best possible one. Right now, we are deciding on ALYCE.

i do think tengoku is slightly better for beginners but they are close so your choice

Why do you want a stunner (or in general a high-tier PvP mythic - which is also limited, so often you can’t really use it) for a newbie account? If I were starting and wanted a mythic that would be great to build around and use to clear PvE events or story, then the most obvious would be to get a strong sweeper (preferably with Void) - like Carmillette, Sivanna, or Zephyramus.
It’s also a good point. Both Tenguko and Alyce are almost always on the Limted List for pvp.
i never liked how a lot of beginners think in order to have a usable, strong team means you must be running a fleet of Mythics. Sure, it helps, and they are strong, but there’s a lot of Legendaries that are strong as well.
I only wish getting Legendary monsters was a little more, consistent, but you should keep an eye out for some good Legendaries too. and they are runnable with the first copy. no need to triple down and spend 2,000 gems…
So the festival banner might be a good idea for getting some good Legendary mons for 10 gems.
Hu Shin is actually somewhat usable now after the recent buff. At least a bit better than before.
I’m glad the devs finally gave her attention and adjusted her moveset. Keep working on her.
We’ve got new people on the Neomon team. From my and their experience, you should always keep 500 gems as a floor for Shrine, then spend the rest on powerful Legendaries first, such as Cyclophina, Ldiefaeth, Dameule, or Doomgoo, to ensure you can earn as many gems as possible in PvE events. If you’re worried about the Limited List, then monsters like Dracolotl or Skýherra are good choices.
If you really want to focus on Mythics, what people suggested (Tenguko and A.L.Y.C.E.) are great. A.L.Y.C.E. is slightly better because even if you fail to awaken her, her 02 form is still very powerful and useful for most PvE content.
Her initial role was to help players who didn’t have many Mythics. But nowadays, Mythics are not very hard to obtain, so her role has become somewhat underwhelming
