Trying to see if (1) there is anyone still actively playing and (2) has anyone found any workarounds for the game being off the appstore? The most recent information seems to be a thread with @ArcticTheHunter but that was four years ago.
I also wish to play the game, on emulation maybe, without need of an Apple device.
I can be wrong, but as far as I can remember, the problem was the porting to the required 64Bit wasn’t easily possible and led into the stalling development.
Maybe one day a fan port of Hunter Island and Dragon Island Blue will be possible, I’m sure the developers might even support this to keep the history alive.

Not an active player myself anymore but somehow the game still works on the family iPad so I’ve had younger siblings playing it now for years. Saw the youngest playing today which is why I got reminded of it in the first place and decided to see if there was anyone else still out there playing.
