Anniversary update 2.62

The alpha/beta is the nerf back when the dolhins are complete .they used to dominate the meta for full one season because we dont have many anti skill monsters back then so they are almost unstopable then got nerf with the addtion of alpha/ beta. Now that they’re back with other updated monsters we have crazy shenanigans we could try to PVP

Alpha boosts Attack by 100%, and Beta boosts Defense by 100%, now, the nerf changed the name and the buffs to 50% increase in Attack and Defense.

Lmao they reverted cynthia nerf. Cynthia Nefariodon meta returns!

lucifelle buffs are massive for her!

omg pupupa supremacy!!!

omgawd astrogolem gonna be fun!

ur welcome??

Absolutely going for Cynthia with the neo ticket. Wanted her for a while, never gotten a copy till now!

Very disappointed by the free legendary…. Ffs, giving out a legend that takes 100+ mouths to evolve is giving out nothing.

Wrong. Dolphin bond is +50% to both. The alpha/beta variants gave +50% to either attack or defence. So they were a pure downgrade.

For context, the final dolphins came out during an anniversary (with the others being featured alongside) and at a time when the meta was mostly legendaries so they completely dominated PvP as lots of people got them. Normal legendaries couldn’t do well against the buffed stats and them all being stun immune meant there was no easy way to counter them.

Stronger players could overcome them, but a lot of the player base struggled. I think it all would have been fine except that too many people hatched them during the anniversary. We’ve had similar meta-changing releases in more recent times like Keiser and Calamitas. It was basically like that but one of the first times it’s happened.

Cynthia was like that since release. What got nerfed was Nefariodon. It used to be an entrance that killed marked monsters but now it’s an active skill.

Giving everyone but Auraleus Stun counter😑

Anyways since they r increasing i probably gonna have to stop using XYZ lol

VKC You don’t get tired of giving infinite shields to Monsters with ridiculous conditions to lose them

She is trash even with that, but I am happy my auto BQ frontline is even more effective.

Personal Thoughts on the Update

Thalazaar – At least they removed the healing and infinite cloning. Still way too strong when paired with Scapegoat-type monsters.

Nagandia – Minor change, but it is still being abused in frontline. Daunt+ should honestly have a 50TU from start of battle restriction.

Charybdia / Obsybdia – Same story as Nagandia.

Fiona – Nice change. Now she can be used as a shielder for enemies to set up kills with Shieldbreaker monsters.

Selkette – Did she really need a buff? I don’t think so.

F.D. Morgan – Did you finally fix her terrible AI?

Aello – This changes nothing; that move is still mostly self-targeted.

Lucifelle – Good improvement, especially since she’s poison immune.

Vivienne – Finally the way she should’ve been released. No more 47TU GT spam.

Bridalith – Excellent adjustment. Now players can finally experiment with other 5th-slot options.

Akane – Now this one is interesting. Great direction!

Cynthia – This could bring Mark-based strategies back. She was benched for years because of her Quick Draw restriction.

Novemdomina – Huge improvement. LINK Fire teams might actually be worth running again, especially with the newer Fire waifus we got this year.

Majorie – Attempt no. 1,393,929 to make her relevant. Let’s wait for the next one.

Bloomeluga / Bunkerbeast – Great change for smaller collections.

G.F. Lily – Much needed. That stun weakness was holding her back too much.

Valzareign – Massive buff, probably making it one of the best older legendaries in the game.

Dolphins – Fair change; they’ve been out of meta for a while.

Medbie – Haven’t tested yet, but the changes look promising.

Overall Impression:
A very strong update with great direction. Akane, Azida, and Novemdomina stand out the most. Also glad to see some long-overdue nerfs to low-cost GT abusers.

They didnt need to hit her with the double nerf, just the GT would have been enough

Thalazaar, only speed nerf would affect him otherwise its almost the same, no point in trying to kill him when he will spawn 8 times

Aello Is a weird one, she is mostly used to use that skill on herself, or have a pull back monster next in line to spam her entrance

Bridalith RIP

Cynthia I dont see her making any comebacks yet, the 50 speed and lack of defense really makes her hard to use

its still incredible that even after all those buffs Majorie is still not good enough for pvp
