I think the first suggestion might be too good, but it could work. In my mind a solid TU reduction is enough. It just takes so long to do much.
How about an overhaul to stealth where it only gets removed by multi-target attacks? Would that have any chance to work? Poison would still remove it.
It would obviously mean that stealth moves stay high TU but the damage moves could possibly still get slightly lowered TU.
^ Scratch that, way too hard for the enemy team to counter.

Stealth gets removed when they use a move like sneak attack (the monster comes out of hiding to attack). However, the TU of sneak attack is made much lower.
That said, I do like how it’s an archetype which is always having the defence of stealth up. This change would make it more like energy/mortar where it’s using up the charge move for the attack.
Perhaps all we really need is some minor TU changes and a couple more monsters to support the archetype like a “cannon acceleration” style move for teammates in stealth or the move “stealthy give turn” that purifies and applies stealth to the target.
Not both, that would be incredibly hard to counter except by never letting it get a turn or killing the monster he’s gonna GT to. make it apply stealth and give turn, and then either give it 50 tu purifying stealth ally or Pmist at 100tu. Thatd be a perfect support
The purify would be to make it consistent with toxic give turn, which purifies first before adding poison and giving them the turn. It would also give stealth a bit more resilience to both sleep and poison
Why not make some good stealth gift mons so that they can be cannibalized to stealth the team
