Random question, how come some people can use symbols in their name? Like for example there’s this guy in pvp who’s name is “???” But when I try changing my name to “SHOWT!ME” it says it’s invalid? Is it possible on some devices?
I’ve tryed too, but doesn’t work at my device (Android).
??? Named People are banned well only apha numerical name r allowed

One time i had an opponent in IC with his name ‘???’. Much strong he wasn’t but had many monsters from my team and i just wondering how that could be?!
The current naming system does not allow non alpha-numerical input, the question marks happen when the server cannot retrieve the name for whatever reason, so it uses them as a placeholder
I don’t know if it results from banned users or not tbh, it’s not possible to test that from this side. You’d have to pose that one to the devs.
it’s not from banned users, my name has been ??? a few times during events when I have dced whilst loading up the event, it doesn’t happen often but it has happened a few times to multiple people I know
