Angelion: Fine how it is I think. The SS is the way to get a kill if retribution isn’t available. It’s received nerfs and is now a balanced incredibly strong monster.
Hellfox: I too would like to see the restriction removed from the secret skill. However, the TU should be increased from 1 up to 100/130.
Dolphreeze (dolphin bond): I agree it’s nuts with the stun immunity and the unmovable on Dolphreeze meaning you can only knock back Dolpheonix to break the combo is annoying. I dolphin bond should do a stats boost + unmovable rather than stats + stun immunity. The main issue I have is how spammable they become with the stun immunity. The stats boost is surely enough to make it a viable combo and the unmovable makes it more powerful but it’s possible to knock back one of them before the other enters (if they’re not in the front line).
The only thing annoying about the bond is the high defense. That should be nerfed. The extra attack and stun immunity is good. I don’t use them BTW. Always face them though.
The issue is mainly Dolphreeze with massive defence, stun immunity and 100TU time’s up that easily finds a target. When it’s possible to use that in the front line with another monster that’s pretty good and you don’t need to protect them from stun it’s too easy.
There are many good sweepers without stun immunity that get used and stun protection isn’t that difficult to do.
Personally, I don’t think the dolphin duo is crazily difficult to handle in top bracket PvP but I think it would be better for everyone if made slightly less spammable. Originally I was thinking the stats buff was too much but after seeing how they’re played and battling them lots it is definitely the stun immunity being the problem. Removing that and adding unmovable would be a good solution I think.
Yes, but those sweepers don’t require a second monster that is crap to actually work. Dolphenix sux. He takes up a very valuable monster slot. He gets one shot with scarleguard a monster that is in a fair bit of FL’s. And stun moves are not as good as they used to be with the stun immune meta we have.
If the defense is nerfed they will be easier to handle. I rather they stay the same but I can see why a defense nerf is justifiable
It should be guaranteed. Scarleguard ignores the defence buff.
@Saitama I agree Dolpheonix is not a top monster. However, protector killer is useful against many opponents and, even if there isn’t a target for that, many teams use stun counter/converter monsters as stun protection so Dolphreeze can remove those to open them up to stun grenade. Timestrike double only needs one target at ~125s+ then it can one-shot both monsters. When it’s left without Dolphreeze is the only problem.
Why don’t add a unicorn bond for Glaciarcorn and Infernocorn?
To counter dolphin bond
If someone uses dolphin bond+unicorn Bond in FL it might be the most op thing in Neo
As far as Angelion goes, honestly I think it’s finethe way it is. There are many many many counters too it that many people have access to in the form of anything that has Chrono Killer one shots it and a large number of those also have Roaring Entrance so the Lion does not stick around long.
For Hellfox a modification to Rebirth would be nice, maybe a similar thing as with Angelion to just revive the last monster that died but perhaps make it only useable after one of your own mons died?
With the Dolphins, the defense boost is realistically the bigger problem imo. The Unmoveable for Dolphreeze I understand so it doesnt have to recharge its Blood move whereas Dolpheonix has no blood move but does have the benefit of adding 2 more rocks if you repulse it when it reenters, and depending on the team that can be very strong. The attack boost from bond is kind of negligible as Phreeze one shots the majority of its targets anyways, but the defense boost could use a rework because as of now it’s just on the border of being too strong.
How long ago was that? Lol that was when dolphin bond got released. I don’t even have dolphreeze in my current team…Let alone the bond. So nope I don’t use them. Talking in present tense.
