If you have several teams that you switch between, which one is used for your AI in the tower? And if it’s the active team then what what point is that team selected?
Not hugely important questions but it would be nice to know. Gotta represent my squad, you know how it is, don’t want my name put to a team of to-be-trained monsters
Probably the last one you used before the event started bit not really sure what team I’ve mine did you vs last tournament if you can remember
I’m not sure I went against your team, or at least the one I know, which is the one with the assisted water front line.
I’ll have to keep an eye out in the next tournament and find out how this works exactly.

I use a assisted water line up for my warca then I diverge into a stunner then poison team all mixed though

Yeah the assisted front line was probably my team which I use in the earlier stages of the tournament and against weaker opponents… Warca, Cryo, Hydro and Espa protecting with stunning entrance healer coming in next

Yeah I think in actual PVP with no buff AI, the assisted water lineup would be awesome at the beginning…
If I’m facing someone with loads of legendaries - i would actually be tempted to do a death revenge starting line up with Puffo, Ryno, Taloknight and Gaiawolf…
For me I love sleep bombing into warca novablast and titanwolf surviver lets me take down 4-6 monsters more depending on what they bring out very fast which is insane
Plus getting guarantee sleep bombs isint that hard
At higher levels of the tower, that combo would only take out 2-3 mons B)
I have other monsters to remove the others it won’t just be those two
It just puts a huge dent in the opponents team plus I would remove health of any hold ground so they can be taken out in the blast
I don’t just bomb away without thought that’s stupid but a guaranteed sleep bomb does wreck havock on a opponent and gives me a nice start up for the battle
And in the higher parts of the towers only one person got past my front line so it works well for me but I’m ever changing my team and making it stronger when it starts to fail il edit it again but so far it’s going good
Plus does it always work no I may sometimes hit a team

Get some advantage before the rest of my team comes in which has far better combos come in to save me
Don’t get me wrong BlackfireZ the combo works better then you think if used right but yes it’s not fool proof nothing is but if you only taking down 2-3 monsters your doing something wrong
I use assisted water for farming because it’s quick and very effective against weaker teams. It’s probably good for pvp but I have to wait and see.
Besides I much prefer using dolphlare, it’s really good for disruption and for setting up rexo. Plus aegis can partially counter sleep sinc it has purify and they have to attack it.
In pvp, they would skip turns, rendering that purify useless.
Pvp is where it will get interesting many combos we use won’t be as good as human players are a lot smarter it will be interesting to see what combos work the best
There’s no best combo, since there is a counter for everything, except Death Revenge.
Obviously no best combo but certain play styles won’t be as good against real people

You may laugh, but when you come up against it it’ll probably be the most annoying game ever.
Overall though I think it’s actually gonna come down to power. Like strategy is cool and all but there are very few guaranteed setups, if they know what’s coming up and what revenges your monsters have.
I have a feeling sleep and stun bomb are gonna be the kings of pvp for a while.
My frontline is sort of resistant to stun lol. There’s no definite strategy, but if I had to pick one it would probably be stun bomb and timestrike as the most common teams.
They do seem to be the most popular in the tower
