Hoardes isnt too bad if you do it while listening to Something in the background like a podcast. Yes it’s far from ideal and requires certain monsters but it’s otherwise a decent event
Whales is most beautiful event in my opinion, plus you can choose your prices.

I think this poll kind of goes to show what section of the community we have here on the forum. The three bottom events are:
Balancion’s Trials - an event for newer players
Okkult’s Invitation - a unique idea that for veterans is too easily blitzed by general PvE teams (e.g. Auro DR)
Survival of the Fittest - an event with more rewards than most but the team building requirements factor more for newer players. For veterans it’s just a grind with a team that will win 90%+ of the time
Basically, looks to me like we have a pretty big bias with the number of veterans on the forum who participate in polls like this. I have no doubt Balancion’s Trials would be higher and Ultimate Challenge much lower if we asked a bunch of new players.
I actually really like the way those bottom three events are set up. They’re a bit simple and are just a grind for veterans but they’ve got nice stepping stones and are far less hardcore than Ultimate Challenge, Dungeon Challenge and Game of Hordes… which I really can’t see newer players ever doing well in.
For the record, I voted for all the events except those bottom three. I feel a little guilty not voting for them too but they’re just not as fun as the others given where I am in the game.
Still it’s concerning that Garcia’s Survival has not gotten a single vote among 44 voters in a pool where you can select all the options. And according to the actual results + what you explained, I guess a few newcomers voted too.
Of course, I asked “which ones do you like the most” and not “which ones you don’t like at all”, which would have been more appropriated to see if players actually don’t like a certain event or if it is just not one of their favorites.
I personally chose balancion because all you need to do is turn up and there’s a hard mode option for exp
This is a decently well known bias. Sometimes, when asked their favorite, or the best, even a very large group of people will not ever choose an option. This gives the impression that they very strongly dislike that option, when in reality, it is just too average to ever really be considered. What is a mystery, however, is why no one chose all of the options at once just to troll the results
Yeah that’s exactly the reason I didn’t choose the bottom three. They’re fine and fun, just not as good as the others for me. This poll is good for showing which are the favourites and which are mediocre. The fact people are picking their favourites is probably a much bigger factor than what I wrote above (the lack of representation from the newer players of the game).

I dislike Balancion because you can’t sweep it in one day even if you wanted to. I don’t have time to play Neo every day!
It takes 10 minutes and you have about 3-5 extra days

I know but sometimes even that’s not enough. I liked how it was in the past.
How was it in the past?
It let you chain all the days you didn’t play on and catch up with the progress. The downside was that it could be manipulated with the device clock so it was taken away completely.
