Just now played a PvP battle donno what happened but ankoudragon haven’t died it should die after 300 secs passed after it entered the battle right? But it survived more than 600 secs whith out any rebirth and I have sealed it using my dragon for 300 secs. I was like it will die when ever it gets next turn but it totally turned against me. Can any one have any reason for it. I’m pretty sure its 3/4th time this thing happened. Soo any explanation or any reason for this. Am I missing any thing about that dragon

This monster’s use is governed by its complicated passive: eternal rebirth.
When Ankoudragon dies it is revived in your team, but when it enters the battlefield a 300s death sentence gets placed on it that will not trigger the revival if it kills Ankou. If Ankou is positioned in the front line the revival is still triggered by its death but it won’t have the death sentence placed on it. For this reason, many players choose to use Ankou in the front line.
To get a kill with the first Ankoudragon it has the moves protector killer and link death sentence. You can’t rely on meeting a protector so it is best to use in a link shadow setup. Once it has a kill it can sweep with bloodcrave until the recoil kills it. However, you want it to be killed by an enemy so a teammate that can heal it will make it more reliable. On all revived Ankou, eternal rebirth instantly kills a random enemy and charges bloodcrave.
This monster greatly benefits from any revival strategy. Each Ankou is difficult for the enemy team to deal with and should give you great value. This proves very effective against super buffed enemies where eternal revenge still kills them and they often kill your Ankou before death sentence does.
The secret skill helps you get more value from Ankou for the time it’s alive on the field, especially good in the front line.

Yeah,she is one hell of op mon
But not this time ankou was in fl
When is in FL Anku never dies after 300 sec.
And the only way to nullify his entrance is Bastia.
