He was good until a week ago when they nerfed all protectors to Hell and beyond. Now he is piece of crap. An expensive piece of crap that has high cost both financially and in game.

Hatewyrm is awesome against unbuffed opponents. He has the fastest multiple use poison massacre in the game (100 Tu)! Use him with an auto poisoner and you’ll just sweep most monsters when they enter the field

Mistletorment is great when awakened. Second form it has:

  • Much lower health (its ability to tank lots is one of its main strengths)
  • Desperate stampede rather than desperate chomp (no healing)
  • Overwatch rather than pure overwatch (huge weakness to poison - awakened has only weakness to piercing)
