Monster Island has only got “after beta” as a release date, and Cosmic Island has none either, cosmic Island will be later in the year I would say
Monster Island beta is starting soon, and after beta testing (Which is usually a month) it really depends how buggy the game was, and how long it will take to make patches for release. MI should be within a few months, hopefully 2-3 if things go fairly well, but might be longer. It is still in alpha, so probably gonna be more then 2 months though… Cosmic Island hasn’t had much done to it at all, so like drybones said, probably much later.
Alpha is finished, they just have to make a 64-bit version of the game

I thought it went beta then alpha so what’s the final version called if it goes alpha then beta?
It’s always Alpha, then Beta - It’s alphebetical.
The final version is called the release version, or 1.0. That wouldn’t be any different, even if Beta was first.

And yes, Alpha is when the developers go through the game once it is actually coded and developed and finalize it/make it ready for beta. Beta is the first version of the actual finished game, that then goes to beta testers who are just any regular gamer that play through as any player would, and look for any bugs. They report any major bugs developers may have missed, and once beta is done and the gameplay goes smooth in beta, it is then submitted to apple to be released.
