Defending and defending… I think it needs tweaking for sure.
I know I just like the monster design and idea, and how it does not revolve the old support around himself but he supports them. I would love to see support boss monsters more but also playable and strong. Just not the one we have now.
I also just don’t agree with the comparison of lancerat. Lancerat just made S+ even more S+ by running 1 “garnet” (garnets are useless monsters you run in your deck- in our game it is a team- so your combo won’t fail with another card/monster) as yugioh players say which is second form of mojinator which isn’t even bad to run.
Also Lancerat reintroduced a broken old mechanic that nobody liked and the devs nerfed to the ground which is stun but not called stun while these guys are just fast sweepers are reliant on entrances. No doubt they are pushed but not as unfun as lancerat was imo.
So I appreciate you being objective about this.

Janne is using it with nyx, carmille and fyrielle on the FL with HP boost and he does amazingly against FDs and against Selene/One on one. The amount of times double counterstrike came up even if there is no critical target, it was super devastating. Plume is great when awakened awakened.

If janne had the option to turn it back to unawakened form she would probably do. 17 cost is too much for him

I dont know what are you on, his final form offers literally nothing more then his second form.
All you need from him is protection and stun absorb thats his main purpose.
For me to add pull back and double counter for 6 extra cost, no thank you

That’s what I’ve been doing this season. +3 cost for much better survivability, better sweeping, and higher block rate is so worth it. Instant pullback is amazing in the right setup. Mr. X should be using that in the frontline with soral in 5th slot. I guess we’ll see if his teambuilding skills are good enough to realize this.
