Well you know I don’t have great luck either but this time I got lucky that’s all and previously you might also have got 2 or 3 legendaries in just 40 gems
it may surprise you but actually you got lucky getting two copies in 1400 gems.
after doing the maths for how many attempts it takes for 1% chance of mythic guaranteed.
y = 1-(99/100)n
0.99n = 1-y
n ln(0.99) = ln(1-y)
n=ln(1-y)/ln(0.99)
And if you set y to 99% you get
n=ln(0.01)/ln(0.99)=458
it takes 458 eggs in order to get one mythic guaranteed. you used 1400 gems so lets convert this into number of eggs 1400/4=350 eggs
your were not suppose to get a single copy of mythic on average but you got lucky and got two.
