Epic desperate bite, 1 purify/heal all and like 4 dreamhunt/sleep all also ninjastorm, don’t know really how to describe him haha but first event ever that I’ve finally made it to top 100 so I’m quite happy! Hopefully can stay there lol
I had lots of bad drafts, I’m still at rank 126… Hope I’ll manage to beat rank 300, but this is gonna be hard with my current team

At 121. but going to push for 300 anyways. this will be a testamount to what strategies I can come up with.
Hmm, my luck has gotten a wee bit better, now rocking dream hunt epic, starter epic, and shinobi dragon + various 0, 1, and 2 stars. This’ll be my hardest 300 run yet, but I definitely think it’s possible.

5 sleep all/dream hunters, 3 sleep bombers, stun entrance and protect/stun absorber/purifier epic brought me to lvl 250. With luck they’ll carry me to 300 by tmrw.

The buffs are ridiculous, I can’t even sleep opponents yet they always seem to send someone on my team to sleep.
Sleep is only way to reach higher levels but gonna give up on ever reaching 300. Crap drafts and no luck

Shrubtooths all day every day for me. Seriously, I got three of those suckers in a row, plus another one next draft, and yeah, they’ve been doing well for me. First epic was Pharoaguard, figured he’d have some potential with survivors and bombers in the future. Later came Nukespider. That critter’s been blowing his fair share of adversaries to kingdom come. Also got me galvbane again Unfortunately, not a SINGLE stun bomber has shown itself yet. I’m going to start having a seriously rough ride soon if I don’t start getting some.
Not really. I just finished it now without sleep team. In fact, I use sleep monster as throw ammo lol. Sure there is limited strat that works, same with other events.
Stop using sleep all, that’s only when you can spare it missing. Rely on setting up sleep bombs properly.
At floor 191 at the moment, just got a luna which is soo helpful and he’s my main man on my own team so I feel like I’m guna make it to 300 this time hopefully, might do an all nighter, want those epic gems so bad lol
Do you find that you’ll often get a tricky pick between two, eventually go for one, and then the EXACT one you just picked will appear in the next three? Such a pain!
Nuke and Galv are incredible drafts - Galv keeps wrecking me whenever I come up against him.
What would be best- Blitzdragon, Gearcroc, or Armavolt? Just got those 3 SEs in a draft.
Nobody on chat atm so I’m just going to take Blitz as I have a Stunning Entrance, several Stun Bursts, and I heard Stun Absorb was broken in the IC atm.

Probably too late now, but 5* protectors are incredibly useful in the later stages of the event. Blitz’ stun is a handy support option, but his timestrike becomes quite ineffective in the latter levels unless supported by a stun bomb. Depends on your other mons though really, no point having a 5* protector if you’ve got no-one else to deal the damage. Which was the issue I had early doors with a 4* protector from the first draft and only 1* and 0* mons in the low 100s, which resulted in about 8 straight losses until the next draft.
Haven’t lost a battle since the second SE draft - managed to get from 236 to 300 today. Here’s my team set up in case anyone has similar monsters and is struggling.
Timestrike is/was always the key for me. Even though I wasn’t lucky enough to get some decent timestrikers this time, I easily made it to 300. Seriously that 1 star Skywolf and 2 star Voltiger had a huge role along with a few stun bombers. Don’t underestimate stun-timestrike in the IC.
