If it is logical that whoever pays has benefits, but is it not enough to have the possibility of having the neo that they want? , do you also have to give it facilities in pvp? be honest because only limit 4 mythical and 20 legendary, even is 10 mythical and 10 legendary.
I hate the whole debate about ‘p2w vs f2p’ in this game. Of course p2p is gonna have an advantage. It’s a ■■■■■■■ gatcha where the more units you have, the easier it is to create a powerful team. That’s just common sense. However, the game is 100% playable for f2p, and in some cases where the player is good at the game, they can get top 10 in pvp with SEs (see lemon). Or beat gatekeeper 1000 with SEs (see unown). As much as I hate rng, it definitely helps balance the game and allows the underdogs to score a win against the big dogs like yakuza, Gmagic, gatn, Daniel, etc. the game is completely playable and the whole the forced variety sucks, it should force players to get better at teambuilding and be unable to use the same exact team every season.
I’m of the opinion that the devs have done an excellent job balancing the pay wall. They literally have to create revenue to keep the game alive, so being perfectly balanced between F2P and p2p is not possible.
I will love to see how in a few years f2p beating p2w easily
They could have other incentives like pay to play this specific strategy that is as good as other meta f2p. Like retribution FL is f2p and can get you to top 10 but there is also p2w throw deck that is as strong but f2p decks players don’t have access to it. I doubt Lemon can top with SE’s again since I remembee when they did it years ago and I was here when they did it. Look at games like overwatch and smite, etc… they are playable F2P but P2W players have access to more units or have access to cool aesthetics. You shouldn’t hate discussing how we can make the game better for new and old players. I have payed for gems in the past, mind you.
just one fl is not enough, you need a great team backwards and if possible some awake
I know. That was just an example.
Well, I’m completely f2p
I’ve argued about this pretty much in the past, but right now I can say that balance between spenders and none spenders is ok. You, as a f2p, can achieve the same things thay do. They’ll just do it faster.
Of course a newcomer won’t defeat a team with, let’s say, 4 or 5 mythics, but you can look at the PvP leaderboard and notice older players can perfectly do it.
About making good strategies or not, this has nothing to do with being spender. If you see a p2w team with a bad strategy, it just means he/she might be a newcomer and is still learning, the same way you see f2p teams with a very bad team building.
Back in the days f2p players didn’t even have real possibilities of awakening a mythic. Now you see many of them with one or two.
Imo, things are the way they should be.
As someone who has experienced what it’s like to play against p2ws with huge collections as a f2p player with a small collection and now has several awakened mythics and a much larger account, I can say for certain that there’s a huge advantage in having a larger collection. Back when I was completely f2p and had a relatively small collection, I struggled to get into the top 10 or top 20. Nowadays I can get top 10 whenever I feel like it without much trouble after I spent $80 in itunes giftcards and have a few strong mythics.
There is nothing wrong with there being a noticeable advantage for p2ws since the game would die otherwise. That being said, you’re either fooling yourself or lack perspective to say that there isn’t a huge advantage to paying for gems.
I’m afraid nobody would spend to have access to a strategy that’s as good as the rest in PvP.
I could see somebody buying a DLC character for Smash Bros./Genshin Impact or a skin in Fortnite/Overwatch, games where you main individual characters. But how could this work in a collection based game?
Just look at people here on the forum. How many people do you think would spend money to gain access to a strategy that doesn’t give them a significant edge in PvP?
People are getting pissed because the Devs are forcing them to ditch their reliable full S tier, Stun Immunity teams to try out something new. It would never sell as much as new, S tier, PvP competitive mythics.
Though I’d be down for some swag Neo cosmetics ngl
You would be suprised.
My point of view on the limitation has changed a bit compared to when it came out, before I did not like the idea at all, now it seems good to me.
-The constant change of limitations forces you to be creative, thanks to these limitations I had to create a new team that turned out to be stronger than my main one.
-Although I like to play without limitations, the limitations are not so bad, if it is true that it limits us to those of us who have small collections, but for that there is something called “Wheel of Fortune”
For me only 2 things should happen (choose)
1-Remove the limitations, leave the pvp as before, all fighting with their maximum power each season.
2-Leave the list of limitations but deliver more legendary potions to be able to vary equipment without the + 0- + 9 being a great disadvantage.
You’re ready to tell me with passion, confidence and divine fervour that a deal like that would increase the amount of spenders?
What is “smite”? I’m not sure what this terrible translation is referring to.
Like I said, besides throw teams (which I think shouldn’t be limited since no one uses throw anyway @Dev_VKC ), the people who are affected by the restriction list are people who are copying lame teams like retribution FL and link Fire anyway.
@TOG_BaNaNaHoT @DMG_Memories @TNCxXchaosxXf2p i dare you to share the team you planned to use before the restriction list came out
any of the 2 is fine with me
Google it. Literally the first thing that comes out. Why are you always being passive aggressive with me for no reason? Is it because that one time I ignored your clan invite? I quit the game around that time so please let go of that…
100% yes. I don’t know if killerdog is P2W now but he loves his link storm and link water. Are you telling me if there is a cool dragon 16 monster team that is as strong as let’s say DMG Coltraz’s whole team (O on O into link fire)? What about Gary the death revenge lover was P2W (I’m assuming they are, idk much about them) and there was a really interesting team with brand new death revenge team that with new interactive skills and awesome design? I would believe they would pay for it.
Anyways, After further looking and thinking about the new limit list, I think I’m fine as it is. The mythics were reasonablely common used ones especially in awakened form.
I complain about not having potions not on the list, I don’t know why you put me here, I’m running a counter team for most teams and a Poseidon ending
I have spent money before, I never said I was F2P for the record.
None of the people you mentioned would spend money solely for cosmetics, especially killerdog
That was an example for the love of god. I don’t know what P2W players who have access to every legendary and most mythics enjoy so I just gave example of people who have favourites.
