I’ve noticed over a long time of playing that there is a scarcity of certain ingredients required to Ultra Evolve, mainly Alelteramid and Vorabook. In Vorabooks case especially though, many monsters that use it to Ultra Evolve require two copies of it. The scarcity of the ingredient (not even 1 guaranteed per month) make it extremely hard to come by, thus monsters like Dolphoon, Vuudoom and others that require multiple copies have long sat on my shelf of Unevolved monsters and itd a bit tiring looking at them after pulling them and never knowing when i miggt be able to get the materials to evolve. Maybe we can add Vorabook to the materials gained from SCB as a revolving reward or make them a bit more common in Event Rewards?
I noticed that even Omegamids are hard to get. SCB had something else as a reward. It’s the same case with Alteramids, most of my shiny monsters sit there unevolved. PVE rewards are so weak, devs should balance it.
I think I forget about that because I usually have to go for the Omegamid. Even so, I have several mons that need 2 Vorabook and an Omegamid to evolve, so to evolve 3 of them using the guaranteed each month from SPUB and the one from PvP would be at least 3 months to evolve 3 monsters, assuming I’m getting the Omegamid from PvP as well as a supplicant for the one im not getting frok SPUB. I don’t really feel like 3 months to evolve 3 monsters is a good usage of time while they sit there quite uselessly in limbo until that happens.
To further issue to it, I don’t really have the time to focus on PvP like that to get those rewards consistently. I did 10 PvP battles this last season as a grind for the Omegamid at 8 wins. There should be a more flexible option for PvE players as well who can’t devote the time to PvP to get those kind of rewards just to evolve monsters. Leg pots make sense as those rare ingredients as they really only factor in to optimizing PvP teams and making them count. Evolution ingredients should be easier to get a hold of than they currently are imo.
Vorabook is definitely available from the special ingredients mission every 16 days. I agree they are otherwise rarer than most ingredients. I always used to pick the Vorabook from that mission (years ago when I hadn’t accumulated a hoard of them all). I think you’ll probably want to default to a mixture of Vorabooks and Omegamids from it.

The other rare ones are Alteramids and Ocarinos, as pointed out…
Ocarinos you get mainly from PvP. I think if you play enough there for the rewards each month you probably get enough. Feel free to correct me, it’s hard to gauge.
Alteramids you barely need any. We had quite a few shiny monsters released recently, but you should catch up soon. I think we get one from the Defence of Othlon event coming out next week.
