Solitary duelist means that if there is no monster , be it enemy or ally with beast type , vixen gains attack and defence buff and its attacks ignores hg .
It only applies to allies; the fact that the enemy is using beast-type moves has nothing to do with it.
If you use the water element with her, she will only be able to use bloodlust, but she will have increased stats with piercing.
Now, if you use beast or protector type, it doesn’t gain increased stats or piercing; it will be a normal, unpowered monster.
Now that you meet the conditions of not being a beast or a protector, you will have a fast, deadly monster with piercing and improved stats.
It’s written no same type or protector on the field. When I use her , it applies to both side.
On the field means on either side , right?
No man , I don’t. It’s my bad if I dont know . I’ll reuse her again to confirm
It says “on YOUR field”, not “on THE field”, which implies only your side is tracked for the buffs
If there’s a beast or protector teammate then Vixenblade gets no buff. Without either then it activates, doubling her stats and giving piercing.
What’s interesting is solo slayerbane already deals one-shot damage without the buff (and solo dreamhunt too of course) and Vixen’s defence is already high. So the main benefit is getting piercing. Obviously it’s a lot better that way, but what I’m saying is it still functions fine without the buff.
Using Vixenblade without water monsters is most important. Those block it from getting kills.
She is too restrictive compared to the other sweepers to be anywhere near top tier.
she is one of the best water mythics in the game, but due to the new releases of water which came out alot stronger and the increase in beasts she fell off.
Maybe its time to loosen her restrictions a bit
I think it should be changed from SOLO for its abilities to MONO like astralyth.
And now the enhanced stats will not activate if you control Water Beast or Protector.
That’s definitely the right thing to do. The current limitations make Vixen unplayable in the current meta.
I don’t know what you guys are on about. I play it regularly and it’s brilliant. It tanks well and sweeps with incredible ease, often at low TU. It was a menace on release with lots of complaints and I fought hard to make sure it was carefully nerfed (protectors making it lose the buff was my input). It’s funny to see the complete U-turn where people now say it’s not good enough.
I think the only reasons it doesn’t see so much play are the restrictions stop it from being an option in many teams and having OoO misdirects many people to thinking they need to build around that and play it as a FL monster.
The restrictions are an extremely good thing for it. Designs like this are what I would say is ideal for the game where it’s a powerful monster but you can’t utilise it in most teams.
The only thing I’d like to see changed (if anything) is the SS becomes solo “you’re grounded” again (i.e. 130TU → 70TU). I appreciate Vixen was too powerful on release and this was a good compromise back then that also helped push it out of FLs but with power creep this nerf could probably be reverted and not feel oppressive. Any of the other suggestions I see are typically way too much, even my one here is pretty big.
This makes absolutely no sense to me. It doesn’t clone itself nor is there any reason to clone it because it blocks the buff passive on itself. So basically making it MONO is like removing the restriction entirely.
Astrajlyth and Brynhildr have MONO restrictions because it’s super easy to make multiple copies of them.
No, I’ll have piercing for estimated 104 tu. And btw , you’re grounded deals not big damage. That’s what I felt while playing with the rockoid and kasumi
We’re talking about Vixenblade, who has double stats and piercing in most scenarios you’re using it
I want to have another piercing![]()
I don’t think you’re getting it… Vixenblade naturally has piercing on its moves. So “you’re grounded” already pierces
Solo You’re Grounded sounds brilliant. i agree. i might even consider using it for once.
I was pointing to this. I think it’s still good with this change. Not much of a difference except reduce in tu.
