Update 3.2 Details

With regards to the update itself, I agree with basically all Coltraz just said. All very sensible changes that were good, besides the obvious GT one where I imagine how it affected a few monsters was overlooked.

My favourite change is Rinmu. Making the blood move require two kills is a smart way to nerf the moveset. It really stood out to me how easily she could chain her entrance → sinful bloom → bloodbite before the enemy team could react properly. The design revolving around sinful bloom more makes better sense.

It’s also not a struggle to get two kills on her so all it’s doing is making her less able to deal with enemies that don’t have kills. It reminds me a lot of Yukihime’s nerf of void bloodfury → void bloodthirst making her need to rely on kills via sleep first so she cannot handle sleep immunes or counters to sleep as well. Similarly they also both got a +1 cost increase which is sensible too.

This was the Blight combo I messed around with (rest of the team has changed a bit, depending on season restrictions). It proved very effective but not anything crazy. Luna was a key part of the combo since she has both the ability to double kill and the sleep immunity to die when Lurelily uses the SS.

Lurelily is obviously the main component of this combo. I wonder if that’s a Blightosis combo they’re aware of and want to keep alive, but decided Luna works a little too well for it.

I haven’t tried Blightosis + Luna in other setups but I imagine she’s up there as one of the best options across all the things you could choose to do.

I would definitely call it a decent buff to Luna… more speed is pretty great for her since she already has HG and sweeps well on the first turn. It makes Vixenblade very happy to have any higher speed sleep immunes.

everyone remembering utopions only when it received a nerf, is there really anyone in competitive who uses it?

No. Shiny one was seen maybe a couple of times in higher ranks in LINK teams, but that’s it.

I’ve used her in this Blight setup, but was she that powerful there to be banned from this strat? I don’t think so.

That’s true. You noted how there were multiple Blightosis teams in the top 10 this time and your one included Luna. Much more likely they were looking at something like that when making decisions.

Were the other Blight teams actually going for Blightshriek or were they aggressive teams using it to help enable that?

I really don’t remember how many pvp seasons I’ve played in a row without encountering a monster user.

A top team was also a Blight team with Luna Gieh

Me

For one thing, it wasn’t pvp orientated, but pve mostly. Especially to have a semi-reliable bomb for pve.

Another team got destroyed with the GT is A.S team feels bad man, ruined before release even

Yes utop and give turn to give turn was very op had to bd nerfed agree with you

We already know that you are the exception

Another thing, instead of nerfing rimmu, they should have nerfed the pseudo stun, because it is still horrible that an opponent has rimmu and then the mythical 6-legged dog, rimmu enters and stuns, the dog enters and stuns on the stunned and after sacrificing an ally, stuns on the stunned 2 previous times

Honestly besides Vivienne no nerfs should have been made, luna is a double edge she is better with nyx cant work with flower.

i would have liked to seem them buff weaker mythics to bring them more closely to the top ones instead of restricting the top mythics pvp after pvp
