Update 3.2 Details

It’s time for Sendbacks to shine.

The game is going to be killed by the new releases of monsters with crazy abilities, can you imagine a waifu who attacks her and instead of receiving damage she recovers life, what the fvck

I love that one, a dragon is the perfect icon!

Poor Utopión—with that change, his description no longer makes sense; now he just looks at you like this:

Utop nerf he was op giving healing give turn to himself to bring himself off holding ground

:rofl::rofl:haha . Omg

How did a decent stunabsorber get hit in the crossfire lmao

I’ll advocate for a Utopion fix as well. My buddy can’t do anything if it gets poisoned, and now it can’t do anything at all.

The damage we would like to inflict with the detestable assisted attacks :joy::broken_heart:

@Dev_VKC
I appreciate the change to give turn moves, but could it be done where they can still give turn to themselves?

The monsters affected are:
Utopion (and shiny)
Crimseias
Djinzar

The one important thing to avoid is allowing monsters with some form of dual give turn to give turn to themselves. Single give turn is safe.

Each of these affected monsters have special versions of give turn, so perhaps they could specifically allow targeting the user.

I know these suggestions aren’t clean, but it’s a shame to see these designs get ruined/nerfed for no reason.

for consistency it should be everyone, i believe the change to give turn is ridiculous and should be reverted as it change the game main mechanics

I think it is better to adjust the affected monsters individually instead of reverting the whole Give Turn change.

Both Utopions have Saving Spell if you want to heal them back up. That said, if they lost too much value because of this recent change, I would be fine with them getting a small buff somewhere else.

Crimseias losing sleep immunity because it cannot self poison anymore is fine to me. It is already extremely strong, especially next to Emberelle.

Djinzar’s Give Turn Wish was mostly just a shortcut to faster Death Wish. Since it is only 68 TU, I do not think the change is that meaningful there.

Give Turn change also stopped the AI from spamming GT on itself over and over, which is a good thing.

The give turn change wasn’t needed at all

It broke alot of fundamentals in the game and completely destroyed some monsters

GT chains and spamming them one after the other for sure was fundamental for some players…

Being able to gt to rescue monsters was essential to the game, furthermore some monsters were fully dependent on gt to self such as utop or fire bird legendary or give turn to fire bird to awaken sleeping monsters

I want to see one team where you ran Utopion. Then I will believe your crying about them.

My thoughts about this update

Viviénne

Comeback Drive finally has a restriction. Good change.

Shi Na

Interesting change. Soul Mark being usable up to 5 times gives her more room to actually do what she is supposed to do. The stronger summons also look fun, and I definitely plan to play around with her this season.

Rinmu

Finally got some balance. Still probably not enough, but it is at least a step in the right direction. She was way too dominant as an entrance mythic, so I am happy they touched her.

Luna

Not sure if Luna was really that powerful with Blight to justify the speed change. Maybe now she is better against Sakura and other monsters in the 30 to 40 speed range, but I will have to see how it feels in actual matches.

A.S. Poseidon and Gummy Dragons

This feels like preparation for more releases in those families.

Cornered Snipe buff

Love to see Cornered Snipe getting stronger. Mark is still very underplayed, and this might finally push it a bit more into actual use.

Give Turn change

This is a big one, but honestly we needed it badly.

All those GT chains with low-cost SE monsters, Rescuing GT, and similar setups were getting way too abusive. Stopping Give Turn monsters from targeting other Give Turn monsters should make the game healthier and cut down on some of the most annoying loop setups.

It doubles the TU required to get to death wish. I think it’s actually the most impacted monster.
