A couple of days is normal. I think the Devs sort through the results to make sure they are legit. This event in particular has highlighted that.
Do you think they hand them out before the special eggs end?
Most likely, if you want a legend then save it for the festival though.

they will hand it out later than ussual cause of the hacking. a full check will more than likely be done before handing out rewards
