This looks incredibly good. I’m amazed it’s only 4 cost. I think it will need rebalancing later with 7 cost.
Not only is this basically 4 rockoids for 4 cost, it’s also a perfect backstab target for the many monsters in the game which want that. Sivanna and Isoldelle are two which come to mind that are hard to put a designated backstab target into your team for but play much better when one exists.
As for PvE, I’ve always been very down on monsters that need to kill teammates. Simply put, it’s not been worthwhile to kill your own monsters in PvE. However, this is now an extremely good target for enabling all those monsters for very little cost in your team.
It was only a few months ago the special rocks got cost rebalancing because people moaned they were too efficient and Zomboid got a revive chance nerf. I’m surprised they came out with something as strong and low cost as this!
This is what I thought after I saw it.
Another thing that makes this guy insane… the rockoids that it spawns seem to come with full stats. We get to face one in the new SCB and I was surprised to see the rockoids tank a bit. I’m definitely expecting a nerf, it seems like the strongest special rock we’ve ever seen
