The "festival" topic from earlier disappeared?

The topic from before where everybody had posted their hatching results and somebody came up with a general legend “rate”? and supported that something was fishy with this festival? am i just missing something?

Everything alright, nothing to hide, thats why it simply disappeared

The thread was deleted due to increasingly uncontrollable negativity, and it very quickly lost any productive purpose.
If this thread becomes a continuation of it, it will be locked. Please keep it civil and productive.

was it proved? i just feel confused, its pretty hard to believe that so many people just had “bad luck”

okay, thanks for clarifying

Yes, the group in question did simply have bad luck, and I say this after our testing verified that the egg is functioning correctly. When you start a data pool based off of “we all had bad luck and have come together to share our story”, you’re going to get a skewed result (dont forget about all the lucky players that DIDN’T complain). Furthermore, 650 is not enough to give an accurate result, regardless of bias. Our testing showed similar bad luck around that point, which eventually stabilized into the 6.1% legendary that is advertised.

I’d like to warn people from adopting a mob mentality in situations like this. Please keep it peaceful and productive,
Tyler.

Tyler said odds are same as always and our collected 650(!) eggs with a rate 3,6% was simply karma and bad luck all over the place. And to support the point of free speech he deleted the thread instead of locking it so other people cant see the discussion anymore because yeah you know everything is alright

gotcha, thanks for the in depth response

That´s just not true, normally the thread is FULL of 3x legendary pulls and most of the people are showing off what they got with a couple of sad people around with nothing so it evens out even on the forums.

The ones that didn´t complain bragged and those are aswell in the data pool.

I started the thread after people just randomly posted their results without any mob mentality, so what you are saying here are for fact lies.

Anyways I am done as if you made a mistake at this point you can´t admit it anymore and will lie and make up stories hoping that most of players will buy it.

Since we can´t proove anything I truely hope you did not screw up the rates by accident and now trying to cover your tracks.

This seems to happen every couple of months. People cry and complain about the eggs. I’m positive nothing sketchy is going on. Why would the devs lie about the egg drop rate? They don’t lose money if you get a monster you want. In fact if you get what you want you will more likely spend more money. Let’s not be stupid guys. A lot of people are mad about the chrono nerf so I suspect all this negativity had something to do with the nerf. Ps Chrono is still better than average legend. Set up his timestrike all people. Then bloodthirst. Everyone needs to settle down with all the whining.

I promise you, we would never pull a move like that.

It´s quite simple if the devs used the special egg pool instead of the festival egg pool with their respective chances (which already happend once just abit back) they would need to refund the gems to everyone who rolled in that time, so since tyler called the 650 sample size “small”. Maybe 2000 in total got rolled ?

Then we are talking of a refund in gems worth of ~ 5000 € in total that´s a reason to lie for without even thinking about reputation.

Thinking that has anything to do with chrono is just “sad” you really think people who drop 300 gems on a festival care for chrono nerfs.

Not saying I disagree with your opinion as I don’t. As a financial statistician there isn’t enough data available to conclude if the eggs really do average out to the 6.1% for a couple reason. I don’t know the number of eggs bought in total and this particular pool is more than likely skewed with negative responses. I am an executive at a large medical center, and I am assuming that this situation is similar to the collection of data we collect. As a generalization people that feel negatively towards their experience or appointment are far more likely to give their time to fill out our data sheet, so more often than not our experience numbers are overall lower than what is expected. A way around this is to poll everyone with two or three quick questions at the exits that take no longer than 1 minute to answer. Any longer and they are unwilling to participate. On multiple occasions the averages are astoundingly different. There are issues with this as well, suck as people aren’t as comfortable giving poor responses face to face, and other things we have picked up on throughout the years.

Ultimately unless a true random sampling is done the data is going to reflect the overall tenor of the questions. If you are asking negative questions, more than likely you are going to get negative responses, as was done in this festival egg situation. Good luck with future eggs, but ultimately I have found that numbers do hold true. If you keep at it you will get an abundance of legends in a smaller amount of eggs that will get the average where it is supposed to be.

i didnt intend for this topic to become just like the old one, i just wanted clarification. mod/devs can feel free to LOCK this thread.

True. And 3,7 leg rate is nowhere near 6.1. Even if 650 isnt enough, it should be somewhere around 4,8 and higher. Still even if the odds are fine, deleting a thread you simply could have locked looks like you want to make some opinions disappear and in combination with the topic of this thread this for sure has not been a wise move.

650 is a very small pool, and Don did a good job explaining more in detail.

and honestly, some here start to sound like conspiracy theorists, and dhould calm themselves a bit I think.
