I have gotten a few of the super epic bonus potions but when I try to use them on my chronox, It says that I am out of potions and tells me to get bonus potions from the online events
Chronox is a legendary, you will need legendary potions

chronox is a super epic as the game classifies its in the same category as the starter mons. I should be able to use The super epic potions just the same as I can use the epic potions for the starters
If you would have played 3+ years ago, then you were right.
At the release of Mantisamurai it was changed and every monster now needs the potions equivalent to its final form.
This applies to the starters, Chronox and also to the catchable monsters like Twighoul, Nox or Manti.
