Suggestions to change Biweekly Missions

Hello, I created this thread to make suggestions to change the biweekly missions since they are very boring and monotonous, it is always about defeating the enemy team with a predetermined team and if for a person who has been playing neo for a long time it’s a bit frustrating to discover every monster mechanics to complete it, now imagine a person who has been playing for a short time.

My ideas to change the missions could be something more interactive and fun (like what we saw on April Fools’ Day) some suggestions could be:

-Play 3 Pvp matches

-Open 2 eggs

-Get 100 friend points

-Play a game of Bond Quest

Etc… the possibilities are endless! Right now the biweekly missions look more like biweekly battles.

The rewards could be 1 gem for every 2 missions and instead of 15 missions it could be only 10 for a total of 5 gems like we currently have.

Let me know your thoughts on this idea or if you have any other suggestions to the developers I’d love to hear from you.

I disagree about changing the Biweekly Missions event, although I agree that it ‘Biweekly Battles’ would be a more fitting name. It’s a great way for newbies to learn game mechanics and also fun for non/low spenders as they get to test out some Mythic teams. It can also serve as an inspiration for PvE setups and is an easily accessible event for killing time without needing to design specific teams because you’re running another player’s setup.

Something new we could have permanently alongside everything else are the ‘Weekly Missions’ that you suggested. There we could have those kind of missions you suggested, which would give a small amount of rewards.

The problem is that I see them very forgotten (right now idk much people that keep doing all of them) but a good suggestion would be to rename the “biweekly missions” to “biweekly battles” and create another section with the “biweekly missions” that give more or less the same rewards

At least they could add more achievement rewards for completion. I’ve maxed it out and I think many others have too.

I LOVE the Biweekly Missions! Easy gems, you get to try other teams and it’s the closest thing this game has to a puzzle event.

Your missions idea is something that I’d like to see in the game, provided that we get to keep the current Biweekly Missions too. Seems weird but I prefer Anesa’s missions to 90% of the current PvE content.

If I had to change them some way, I’d make it so that the battles are some sort of gimmick challenge. For example:

• a battle you have to win without losing more than X monsters;
• a battle where all monsters are immune to Stun;
• a battle you win when you kill all the monsters of a certain element, and nothing else

Or, maybe introduce boss battles: the Devs choose a monster, pump its stats to high heaven, give it a big moveset and it’s a wrap.
For example, a Bundam with 150’000 HP and some additional skills like Double Piercing Blow, Execute and the ability to summon Mr. Bun at will.

I love the battles, the only think i would suggest is the rewards be increase along with battles, i always complete it so quickly😅. Also i think it give newbies an understanding of monsters working together and doing combos

I’m not a big fan of beweekly missions,but I don’t think those you suggest are better. I mean, stuffs like playing pvp or opening eggs are things we do almost every day. They are nothing new and do not represent a challenge.

Now, talking about Annesa’s Beweekly Missions itself, it’s an event different from all others, where you receive a predetermined team in most of battles in order defeat your enemy, and every battle represent a different challenge. This kind of event forces new players (and some old ones too) to think well every move, and shows them different combinations of monsters which they might or might not know, making them better players with time. Also, you have the chance to run monsters you don’t own yet.
This event is fine the way it is.

This I do agree. Annesa’s missions are good as beweekly event but it’s true it doesn’t fit it’s name much. Also, as @Exu said, we don’t have weekly missions and tasks as the ones you suggested could go in here.

I think that increasing the rewards and achievements of these would be more than enough and many players would be happy with this

I think the rewards are good maybe reduce the time of the event

Biweekly missions are intended for new players to learn and play with many different monsters in the game. It’s an important thing for that reason.

Long ago people were asking to get the opportunity to challenge top PvP teams of people from the most recent season of PvP. I’m not sure how much people noticed it but that’s what those bottom 5 battles are!

I am strongly against the addition of daily/weekly achievements which we need to complete that are for silly little tasks to get rewards. I find these annoying in games and they’re a lazy way to get people to log in regularly. There are FAR better ways to make people log in, as we see with most of the limited-time events (they either have their own tickets which refresh or they use our normal tickets that refill in typically 9-18 hours). The new “5 PvP a day” is something I hate and most days I am simply using a 1-monster team which I backstab for a quick loss. How is that fun??

Honestly, while more content may seem like a good thing at times there is a careful balance to be met. It can easily be overdone (and it has in the past).

The only change i want is to play them more…
Maybe more than 15battles
Because it actually seems more fun than most pve events…

They should bring puzzle arena back to life. This was really fun actually.

Biweekely missions are fun too and you have 2 weeks time to finish it. 1 battle per day and you are done.

I think this is a good event for beginners. Because beginners can actually use many monsters and teams. I think it will help beginners to consider about the monsters and team composition they need. Therefore, I suggest that devs do it once a week. @Dev_VKC
