I tried it against you , sear didn’t do any damage
Time’s up kills it… Chrono killers too
I find it hard to believe that dolph will 1 shot it. My dolph cant even get Angelion.
Oh it does now
I think they hot fixed or something… I’m sure even bb couldn’t kill it like a day back…
Im just happy i finally got a stun counter monster. Genuine question for me though is doesnt auto poison all counter sakura ?
I dont think they done anything to it.
I was able to use chrono killer on it since day 1 of release. + the devs have stated in the notes chrono killer works since day 1
What do u mean
Hmm interesting… cos on first day , my bb was doing 1 dmg…
I saw three featured ones including the mythic.
4 actually inc mythic… but I dint get Dolph or stag… so I’m sad… did we match up ?
It’s not sleep immune, I don’t see any particular combo with OoO. I want Sakuralisk as a mid-game sweeper/stun counter. Mid-game is where people usually put their stun and I can more easily set up kills for its double bloodthirst before its first turn. Also, Sakuralisk is a power house which is why I want it for my collection. I’ve got lots of monsters already so I’m focusing on the best ones out there.
As a general reply to this thread… we see the occasional very powerful monster come to the game. That’s been the case since the beginning, and in-between there are strong and mediocre monsters. I would not call Sakura an indication of power creep, it’s just the next very strong monster to come.
October - December actually gave us quite a few strong monsters back-to-back. We had Nulltron+Novadrake at anniversary then Dracorosa and Dolphreeze shortly afterwards. Normally they’re more spaced out like we’ve had since.
No, I just knew it according to the screenshot in this thread.
I gave up pvp as I got nothing from the eggs. Every time I matched to someone, I got slaughtered by random combinations of dolph, sakura, stag, whale, etc.
I’m sorry, but I disagree. This monster is the incarnation of power creep; between it’s powerful, albeit luck-based passive, the combination of Stun Counter/Double Bloodthirst and it’s overall utility puts it miles above most, if not all sleep-based mons. It was bad enough that Angel had Stun Counter/RAW Bloodfury, but now you have a monster that can kill two monsters and nullifies all stun, with no drawbacks whatsoever.
And puts the enemy to sleep, meaning roaring entrance has 1/5 chance to be useless
Now you have two counters to roaring entrance. The ABCDEFG robot and this monster.
Oh wait, they’re both available via credit cards. Oh well better luck next time…
Thats the mistake these games are making nowadays they replace skill with purchasing power. Takes the entire fun and competitive spirit out of gaming. Its no longer a true challenge or test of skill.
I know what you’re saying and I won’t dispute it. Stun counter + double bloodthirst on the surface looks like power creep and it would be a hard argument to make that Sakuralisk isn’t an indication of power creep. What was going on in my head is how there’s no easy way to set up the two kills so it’s not a flat-out obvious power creep and on the whole monsters this year have not been stronger than last year. Most new monsters have been mediocre or reasonably good.
I got to agree with KD here. The High TU Moveset keeps it in check. Yet, when awakened I think it will be able to One Shot quite a high number of monsters with the one kill charged Bloodthirst, but until now I havent met an awakened Sakura and my attempt to awaken it can be summed up under the hashtag #RipMyWallet
The double bloodthirst does about 2700 damage after 1 kill from awakened Sakuralisk (I think). Not really enough to one-shot anything, but definitely a good chunk off most enemies so should be possible to snatch a kill.
