This change is meant to make it feel more immersive.

She has one self defense - a defense against being picked to be on a team.

I don’t like the design of the monster itself, but I do like that the graphic gets updated depending on a passive being triggered.
How many monsters in the game, by technicality, revives and changes graphics?
Not many. Rozaliz, Dameule, Astrajlyth, are there others?
Off the top of my head, Lionheart is one.
But it was probably old enough back then that the only way to change the graphic, they had to add a second mon.
Then there’s the pupas. By technicality.
Dreadmoth maybe?
I wonder if there is a hidden one on Hazuki.

Hazuki and Kunomi would be nice to have a visual difference when they are the revived version.

Kunomi has Camouflage on the 2nd version. Pretty easy to differentiate that. Hazuki is also very easy as she gets sent back after dying.
Kunomi enters with stealth anyway, so you have to wait to read the “camouflage” text pop up.
I agree most of the time you can work it out, but where it gets tricky is when the monster has been revived by teammates so there are multiple in the team. You also have instances of knockback and stuff like that where it can be hard to remember exactly whether you killed it before or not.
I had a battle yesterday where my opponent had 3 Hazuki because one was revived and they had copied mine with their Tenguko. I couldn’t tell which was on its final life.

It won’t work on my Hazuki because she’s a little child in armour.
Which also begs the question… what will you do about Rozaliz when she gets added to the NSFW filter? Will I get disadvantaged because I don’t want to see her bare bottom?
