I’ve brought Thugfrog to +6 using epic potions. I’m looking for ways to get 3 more(can’t find any). Anyway, the main thing I’m confused about is will I need super epic potions if I evolve him right now? That’s my understanding right now.
If I do evolve him I might be able to defeat the remaining main story an have a last pop at the 10x newcomer egg summon
Yes If you evolve him now you’ll need super epic potions to get it to +9

I think if it means that you could get gems faster for another chance at the 10x newcomer egg summon it would be fine to just evolve it but if you have enough time it’s better to wait.

I have 2 days, I think. Unless a new event is released with 2 potions, it’s not possible. So I’ll wait a day, probably, but not more.
Getting an epic potion from achievements is possible so… if there’s no event I’ll just use the one and evolve.
I’ve got 4½ days of the newcomer egg, that gives some breathing space
It might be better to roll earlier if there is a specific mythic that you’d want. Idk what the mythics are which ones are on the schedule for you?
I wouldn’t bother about the mythics, the drop rates are abysmal.
The next cycle(starting tomorrow) has good ones(bastia and aethereon), but I wouldn’t catch my breath. The last.cycle has Brynhildr and Deviladus. However, I’d prefer waiting it out, personally feel getting a bonus would be better than hoping for a featured mystic, since my last summon didn’t even have a legendary
Meanwhile I have tons of training to do, with Necropion, Noxdrake, Emeraleon, Deodrake, Rexobone and a ton of SEs and Es
I’d roll when bastia is available. The odds are low but it is extremely powerful for both pvp and pve even in its second form.
It all depends on defeating the main story, which is not a given even if I get demontoad. I have 8 gems currently
U need not worry about epic potions and SE potions , u’ll get a lot of them as u play .
Perhaps can even make a new thugfrog +9 . So carry on with the gameplay for now
So I should probably clear PVE and gain achievement gems to try for Bastia🤔

It was suggested in this thread. But I’d rather get any legendary at this early stage
Why get anything when u can get bastia that shuts down 70% of Pokedex

Once I defeat the beritus I’ll get one vorabook after which I can ultra either Necropion or Emeraleon.
I was thinking Necropion because I use a shadow team, but it’s already quite functional. Emeraleon, on the other hand, is not and that brings the case of ultra evolving it instead. I’ll probably be able to evolve the other in a week but that week in PvP makes all the difference
I’m not sure which evolution would help me in both PVP and PVE
