I also had a problem with special rule.But people did not give ■■■ about me.

- I like ruled PVP, PVP is more fun since they started the ruled system.
- I don’t like ruled PVP, it was better when rules didn’t exist

Honestly i don’t think the rules are that bad what’s bad is that they represent 2/3 of unranked PvP which makes impossible to properly test new strategies before ranking contributing to an stalled meta which is really bad for the game. We have said this a thousand times 6 or maybe even 7 days tops is more than enough. In top of that as @Dev_VKC told in the PvP fraud thread the playerbase has doubled in the last months which means the amount of new players most be at least 60% of the total playerbase and as we all know these rules are extremely harsh on them because of their small collections if you add to that the fact most of the rest doesn’t enjoy the rule either we can say almost for sure that outside a very few group of players that genuinely enjoy the rule and some that are benefited by some specific rule sometimes almost all the playerbase doesn’t enjoy them for so long. And devs could bring up the fact most people play during tjose rules but that’s just because they are forced to because of the rewards but the level of enjoyment is very low. We can let everyone spend half of the month forced to play something they don’t like for the sake of a VERY small group of players…

1 week of special rule would be so much better and would allow for extremer rules, like a 4 vs 4 etc
I like having special rules in pvp, especially bc I made one of my favorite teams during the 100 cost rule. I just think it is a bit repetitive when they have the special rules last for two weeks. IMO the best solution would be to have the special rules last for 7-10 days and make sure they aren’t as restrictive as requiring half your team be 8 phantoms.

Yep. Don’t know about others, but at least in TNC after the first week of ruled, people get extremely bored and then we start making tournaments to pass the remaining week

Without the special rules people would get bored very quickly of facing the same things over and over. The meta can get very stale. Special rules force people to build different things as well as presenting opportunities for unsupported strategies to shine. I think they do a really good job of making PvP fun month after month and their current regularity is a better setup than in the past (where people would beg for months for a special rule then finally have it and if it’s unbalanced they will complain lots as well as moaning how for a whole month the only way to do normal PvP is with dueling).
It’s great we have such a passionate, active PvP crowd. The balance of special rule vs non-special rule might be disputed and maybe the special rule period being shorter would be better but also respect how there are many people who play PvP (or the game in general) more casually so a larger special rule period lets them have fun with it properly before it’s gone. If you find yourself getting bored with it then I’m sorry but there is always duelling available and you could choose to dial back your playing for a short time until the special rule is over.
I think the best solution would be to just make better special rules that aren’t so restrictive in teambuilding. I can imagine the meta where half of each team has to be made of phantoms will get rather boring soon.
And this is what i meant, for the sake of players like you (who are a very small % of the playerbase) most of the community is forced to play ruled PvP most of the time. Please take a hard look at the facts it’s not difficult to see the rules period it’s too long 5 - 7 days is more than enough to break the monotony but then let the people test their teams properly
I like rules sometimes because I can usually grab some wins.

- No Rule Unranked PvP
- 5-7 of Ruled PvP every season
- Keep it the same
- New and actually better rules for the same time (as @DMGInterference suggested)
