at least they improved with the rare gems
Yes, but this is laughable to begin with.
As a spender I know how much it takes to awaken mythics and how expensive it is to get those thousands of gems. Those PvP rewards (FOR THE WHOLE MONTH) are almost nothing compared to how much you need each month to keep up with the game and new releases.
So we went from 4 legendary potions per season to 2 to 1? Am I wrong???

Let’s see, with 20 paid you get 76 free gems, with 20 paid gems you can throw 2 packs of 10 paid gems that’s 20 eggs, with 76 you can only throw 10 eggs

You are still losing on the paid gems in terms of gems.
2x 10 packs equivalent to 80 free gems.
74 - 20 = 54 profit gems still less then two packs

New tier!.. So the reward after we reach final liga its 11 gem. But for diamond (1) its 2 legend ticket?
Sad , we only get 1 legend potion. I hope Dev somehow increase Legendary potion in PvE reward instead.

At least now you won’t downgrade in rank until the last league. At most, people will be missing out on those gems and nothing else. Better than it was last season but still questionable in regards to overall rewards.
Should’ve kept equivalent or more rewards. Not less in what’s actually valuable to an account’s growth.

@Dev_VKC Thanks for adjusting the rewards, the rare gems are back but I really appreciate it if you would have given us back the potions.More than anything, even the rare gems would have wanted the potions back.If before it took us approximately 2 seasons to raise a monster+9, now it will take us one more. Maybe you do it so that players play more events and work a little harder to acquire them, but pvp for me is the best way to do it. Again, thanks for the updated rewards, but please give us the potions back. Frankly, I wouldn’t trade any amount of rare gems for the potions. In each pack we have one guaranteed so it is not a problem to obtain them.
I think the potions and the 6 star tickets need to be offered more often. As things stand now, you waste 9 potions on a monster very likely to be rendered useless in a couple of months.
It feels weird sometimes that this game seems to have a problem rewarding grinding.
PVP rewards cap is way too low. You play for 3 days and the rewards are over, why not carry on offering rewards so players feel motivated to continue playing as much as they want and keep PVP match-ups more diverse. Sometimes I face the same opponent 3 times in a spam of 6 matches.
The P2W factor should be an option to those who don’t want to grind or want to speed up the process but right now even with the shrine and the amount of gems being offered awakening mythics is still way too difficult even if you have been playing regularly for many years.
It got to a point where I’m honestly losing interest in the game as it feels like all the hard work I put into the events is nowhere near worth the return i get specially at the speed the meta is changing as the power creep gets worse and worse.
On top of that, out of my 7 awaken mythics, 6 are in the PVP 1st restriction list (even poor Onyxia after nerf) while a monster that dominated top 10 is nowhere there. Way to kill players motivation…
I don’t think the problem is necessarily in rewarding. It’s in refunding. Players that own a monster that is nerfed should get a pot refund: 6 if the monster is at +9 and 3 if it’s at +6. Of course this wouldn’t apply to mythics as there’s no need to pot them.
Hearthstone has a similar system: you get currency to buy cards by selling your cards. Very useful thing when they are nerfed and reduces the amount of grind. It can be done while maintaining profits, it’s more of a QoL-thing.
