Seriously…I just don’t get it. There is a “give up” button down left in the screen. Simply push that if you have no more chance of winning. Personally I noticed that A LOT of players I faced in this season so far “disconnected”. Why? What’s it good for?
Please, just save us both the time, hit that “give up” button and play the next game. No need to restart it or let your opponent wait. Is it that hard to admit defeat? I have no issue either playing the game till my mons are all defeated if it was a good match (simply to honor the opponent/match) or admit defeat if I got overwhelmed.
Rage quitting doesn’t do anything, other than wasting time for both sides! It’s just so annoying.
That can happen, yes. Happened to me too here and there but most of the time when I was winning (lol).
These “rage quits” are pretty obvious. It has nothing to do with the connection/severs in these cases. The usual story goes like this. FL overwhelmes opponent. Opponent has 6-7 mons left before his first turn - instant “disconnect”.
It’s just bothersome.
EDIT:
Aaaand it just happened again. Same pattern as mentioned. Le sigh.
I just don’t get the motion behind it. Just swallow the pill and move on, it’s not like you’re doing yourself a favor with it as you have to restart the game again yourself.
Some take pride in making others rage quit. Others just want to move on to the next match.
You can’t complain about those not wanting to wait 30secs or whatever for the DC win. Especially with servers like this which take 10 years to find a match.
Just for you to make 2 moves before the sore loser rage quits.
Rage quitters aren’t respectful. If they run normally then that hardly counts as rage quitting. It would be just them admitting defeat.
If they intentionally don’t play to waste time or rage dc, then that is another story…
Don’t get me wrong. Rage quitting is fun to watch from time to time. But I actually want to play the game sometimes, not look blankly at a screen for 30secs or so.
