I am writing to submit a complaint regarding Neo Monsters. Currently, my account is Hero Rank 130 and I have 2 awakened Mythics. However, I don’t understand why the matchmaking system constantly pits me against other players who have more than 5 awakened Mythics. I have many friends who also play the game, and they are experiencing the exact same issue.
While I understand that many players pay to progress quickly, it feels highly unfair. As free-to-play (F2P) players, we stand absolutely no chance in ranked PvP. This is honestly very frustrating because, even though gems are relatively easy to get, they are handed out in very small amounts, and pulling a specific Mythic you actually want can take months.
Please, I ask that you improve the matchmaking system and the overall experience for free-to-play players, because the current state of the game feels very unfair.
What win rate do you have?
Also, pinning whether it’s a fair pairing purely on the number of awakened mythics feels a little arbitrary. Not all mythics are equal and I expect your team and theirs are mostly strong due to the overall makeup of them rather than just the mythics. Player skill level also plays a huge role in how well people perform.
While I acknowledge that player strategy is the cornerstone of success, I maintain that the matchmaking system is fundamentally flawed. Regardless of how optimized a legendary-tier strategy may be, it is virtually impossible to compete against players utilizing fully awakened, mythic-tier rosters. Furthermore, strategic proficiency is not exclusive to free-to-play (F2P) users; many top-tier players possess both superior assets and highly effective strategies.
Absolutely. I agree with all that. 2 mythics vs 5 mythics doesn’t sound like an enormous difference though… I feel like what matters more in that comparison is the other factors.
I asked what your win rate is because we’ve had many people complain about unfair matching here on the forum then it turns out they have something like 65%+ win rate. If that’s your situation then you should expect to be facing people with better teams because you’re clearly beating the people who have similar level teams. It’s only really a matching issue if you’re below, say, 40-45% win rate and still meeting unfair battles.
My total matches played stand at 58, with a current win rate of 32.76%.

Ouch, sorry to hear it! Are you noticing much difference in how hard your opponents are during this ranked weekend compared to earlier in the season?
Hey , didn’t vkc said that match pairing changes once you are above a certain hero rank . Probably 120 . If its like that . He will inevitably face higher players.
After today it will move into the unrestricted section. If you keep meeting opponents that are too tough can you share it again here? Show some of their teams, your own team and your win rate. It will be useful to understand if there is a problem going on.
I think in the past there have been some matching problems for particular groups of players and the Devs have to tweak some settings to try and find the right balancing act for how to match people.
